Hi, hope you are all having a great Saturday! I'm reaching out to see if there are any other Mac users out there that is experiencing App Store loading really, really slow atm...? I've cleared App Stores cache with help from all different guides with no success. Anyone who knows what may cause this issue? Since Webroot caused my Photoshop to not work properly (which I've got help with) I'm now starting to be suspicious if it is Webroot again that is preventing my App Store to not work as it should? I'm doubtful though, but as I can't find any help about this issue anywhere else, this post is my last hope! Thanks in advance folks.
Hi there. I bought macbook and it came with webroot and now the subscription is expiring and I bought the new subscription twice through amazon but when I put new key code and click activate it didn’t do anything just acting like I need to put the key code again. So I contacted amazon and they refunded me and want me to call webroot. So I decided to buy through webroot though maybe I don’t have to deal with this but no I still has the same problem so I called webroot but never get to talk to the technician also I sent them a message and haven’t heard anything back. I’m ver new to MacBook and webroot. All the helps will be appreciated. Thank you.
We have a few new clients using Adobe CS and were advised to disable ID Shield in our policy to enable this to work. The problem is it now shows Webroot in a “Protection Disabled” state and prompts the user to enable ID Shield, which they cannot do because policies are centrally managed. I found a 5 year old thread on this with some promises by Webroot to address, but seems to me the issue is the same as it was in 2017.Is there any update on this? Thanks!
So, I have the new Mac update, which could affect this, but up until today, my personal security report has shown that it has kept my device protected. It could also be because I cleared my browser and cache, but my online personal report is now coming up with a license key that doesn’t belong to me and saying it is protecting seven devices? I tried logging into my account but it didn't send me the forgot password, so I had to recreate an account, but it still isn’t showing me my report. Show I be concerned?
A Google ad for one of our products displays Webroot’s red exclamation point warning. “When visiting this website there is a higher than average probability that you will be exposed to malicious links or payloads.”Using Mac OS Google Chrome, Version 77.0.3865.120. Search is for “prosumer espresso machines rocket”. The company is Whole Latte Love. We’ve inspected the page that the Google ad links to, and find no sign of any threats or malware: https://www.wholelattelove.com/products/rocket-espresso-appartamento?variant=14409398419515&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw-mV3pG15QIVCINaBR1fUQ6UEAQYBCABEgJZFPD_BwEAny suggestions for how to fix this problem? Thanks!
Every time I log onto my Mac WSA console comes up red and says a threat is detected. After scans no threat is noted. on the console it states that subscription is not activated but when I go to my account it says active. I’m getting tired of WSA scanning my computer every time I get on it.
This mallware was sent as an update to Flash Player, which it was not. It has installed itself and has taken over the search window on my iMac computer on both Firefox and on Safari. I cannot find it in the list of applications. Will Web Root Secure anywhere remove it? It must be new. Will Webroot send and update to their software to remove it?
When I opened webroot, it said their were about 6-7 scans running at the same time, I restarted webroot, and it said "view scan process". When I clicked it, it showed that it was perparing to scan, but it didn't start. I can't stop the scan. Is there a way to fix this? This is on OS X 10.11.5
Running on a 2016 macbook pro, running Windows 10 in a Parallels VM When I run a scan on the win10 VM, it say's everything is clean When I shut down Win10 VM and run scan on Mac, it says everything is clean When I start up the Win10 VM and run scan on Mac, it finds viruses on Win10 volume. All of the files are .mui extension files. My questions are: Are these false alarms? If not, can I trust Webroot for Windows to find viruses? I have 646 days left to my subscription. WRSA shows up in a yellow mode - saying the subscription will expire and demanding I renew . The Renew Now button takes the place of the Scan Now button - so running a scan on demand cannot happen. I have an iMac. I opened a ticket and was to told to uninstall/reinstall. Which I did. And the yellow warning of subscription expiration reappeared in less than 1 hour. Anyone else have this problem?
I purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere for my mac from Best Buy. I cannot seem to find the feature to permanently erase a file. On the PC version it was as simple as a right-click on any file and a drop-down menu showed the option to permanently delete the file. Is this feature not supported on the Mac version?
How come the scan progress bar sometimes counts backward during a scan? On my Macbook Pro I have WR Secure Anywhere scanning back an forth it seems. I have for example 840.xxx files scannend and then not long afterwards the counter jumps back to 839.yyy files. What causes this somewhat strange behaviour?
Hi,Has anyone seen something like this? Looks like a bug with the latest version on MacOS to me.My Webroot reported what appears to be an old threat this morning (Dwell time1870 days+) on my Macbook for a file that no longer exists. I tried to open Webroot Secure Anywhere on my Mac (agent v188.8.131.52) , but it was not responding, though Activity Monitor showed it was running. One of my clients has a similar issue, a very old threat (Dwell time 1078 Days+) endpoint (agent v184.108.40.206) has been offline/unavailable from early this morning.I have uninstalled Webroot Secure Anywhere, restarted and reinstalled from a newly download copy. Now I get this segmentation fault from the Webroot process on my Macbook. -------------------------------------Translated Report (Full Report Below)-------------------------------------Process: Webroot SecureAnywhere Path: /Users/USER/Downloads/Webroot SecureAnywhere.app/Contents/MacOS/Webroot SecureAnywhereIdentifier: com.webroot.Webroot-SecureAnywhereVe
