I cannot uninstall from Mac Catalina 10.15.6. I submitted a ticket five days ago. I have been on hold for an hour the past three days in a row and no answer. Someone PLEASE help me. No Webroot shows in the apps or anywhere in Finder on my computer. I cannot install new version of Webroot or any other virus protection. I cannot even reset my password and had to register a different account. Any help is appreciated.
Ever since Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.6, Webroot SecureAnywhere has been acting up. First there was issue with update. Got Tech Support remotely access my machine on July 20 and Again on August 6. He manually uninstalled and reinstalled. First scan is been running for almost 4 days. It has slowed the system to a crawl. Tech Support was supposed to escalate it to higher level support. I can not cancel the scan After reboot scan starts again and still can not cancel. I need help. I still have 778 days of subscription left. Please help.
I have Webroot installed on two PCs and now want to add it to an old Mac running El Capitan OS. I have coverage for three devices so should not be a problem and I have read here and elsewhere that you can install on Macs and PCs with the same key code. After downloading the installer, I get to the second screen (after language choice) where I am to add my key code but the entry box will not accept any characters at all - believe me as I tried every key on the keyboard. The display flashed in response to each keystroke but nothing is entered into the box. Thoughts?
I have Webroot SecureAnywhere® Internet Security Complete. I had an alert that a product update was available. I clicked on the update button, but don’t see any sign that the update is happening. I expected that a status indicator would appear. How do I know if an upgrade is, indeed, in progress, and if the update completed?
I renewed my webroot a few months back. It wouldn’t take the new keycode. Tried to resolve via emails, no luck. Haven’t been on my home computer for a while. Trying again. No luck. It will not take the new keycode, even if I cut and paste it in. Tried uninstalling it, no luck. Was just on hold for 2.5 hours for tech support, and no one would answer. Have sent a few messages, no replies. I spent money on this, and i can’t get any help. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like to file a complaint. They have lost my business after this.
My company has ~20-25 Macs, primarily MBP and some MacMini’s. Roughly 12 have no problem with WSA. We have 2 different types of issues not the rest.On some of the computers when you try to open WSA, it flashes and then quits (no process found in activity manager). On other computers, the WSA is running in the back ground (shows in Activity monitor) but you can not access the console (icon does not appear in toolbar at top of screen.Neither issue seems to matter whether use is logged in as a standard use or administrator. Happens on Mohave and Catalina macOS.Clean uninstall > reboot > reinstall r=tried many times and does not typically resolve.Any suggestions?ThanksBernadette
It says it is not going to work so I tried to delete it and move to Trash but it says now I cant put into trash and saying I dont have access to some of the items which HOW WHEN I AM THE ONLY OWNER OF THE MAC this is unacceptable I need you remove thos immediately
I’ve submitted a help request but in the meantime, I borrowed an external hard drive to run the CD you sent. I was able to download Webroot to my MacBook Pro. However, I have a Secure/Anywhere page that comes up. It tells me that my protection is disabled. Underneath that, it says, “Some security settings that protect your Mac on a consistent basis have been disabled”. Underneath is a bar that says, “Enable Now”. When I click on it, I get this error message, “SecureAnywhere is currently managed by the Web Console and all changes need to be applied centrally. Please refer to the Secure/Anywhere documentation for further information”. I take it that means you have to do something on your end. Please advise! Thanks!
I have 36 macOS machines that have not updated to the latest version of SecureAnywhere and I’m not able to remote into each machine and manually update. I’m looking for a way to update the clients automatically via an Apple or Python Scripting similar to this command which works with Windows: start-process "C:\Program Files (x86)\Webroot\WRSA.exe" -argumentlist poll Does anyone know of a way to do this?
I cannot reach a human being from Webroot. Multiple support tickets over weeks have gone unanswered and phone calls are never picked up. Email addresses for sales have also not been replied to. Have they shut down all service? Does anyone have a direct contact number or email where you can reach a person? My application stopped working on my Mac Powerbook (up to date Catalina) and I cannot get the client to launch. Multiple uninstall, reinstalls later, it just fails to launch. I’m beyond frustrated as I can’t even reach a person in to refund me my recent renewal! Are there no humans at webroot anymore?

I’ve been running webfoot on my mac for 6 weeks & a to date total of 2020 new detected threats. Whereto has scanned 134,537,591 files & still running. When I started Webfoot I selected the TimeMachine external storage device to be scanned. Should I have selected the hard drive instead? What do I do with the new threats? How do I delete the new threats?Thank you for your replysnip Removed email address and please don’t post personal info on the open forums.TripleHelix
Webroot stopped working with my upgrade to Catalina. I have since removed Webroot and downloaded the latest version. When I try to install ti starts Webroot, I choose open. The only thing that happens is a Webroot Icon appears in the applications line at the bottom of the screen. It stops right there and no other screens are available. what do I need to do to get Webroot installed again?
So I purchased webroot 6 months ago at Best Buy and I recently uninstalled it as it was making my laptop very loud, hot and drained the battery. I tried to reinstall it (on mac) but I could only get to step two of these instructions offered https://answers.webroot.com/Webroot/ukp.aspx?pid=12&vw=1&solutionid=1220 . The only thing that pops up when I click the dmg file is a pop up of the webroot icon and when I click on it I, I briefly see something pop up on the dock but it quickly dissapears. I can’t do anything else from here.
I started having issues with my Webroot service when it suddenly opened one day with a blue screen and an exclamation point, but it did not give me a reason as to why it was doing that, it also wouldn’t scan anything. I went online and everything pointed to reinstallation, so I did that and now it won’t open at all, even to put in the keycode or really install it. Can anyone help me? I tried to contact webroot directly but they haven’t gotten back to me! I am running Catalina 10.5.5
