Since I upgraded my MAC to Big Sur recently, my Time Machine backup stopped working. After a week of diagnostic with Apple tech support, it was determined that Webroot SecureAnywhere was preventing the MAC backups from working. I uninstalled Webroot, and suddenly, Time Machine started working again. I let it work for a few days. Then, I reinstalled Webroot, and immediately, Time Machine stopped working again. So my question…. Has this been reported and can Webroot do something about it?

Can you tell us the version of Webroot you have installed?
Here is the latest version for Catalina and Big Sur Only v188.8.131.52 https://mac.webrootmultiplatform.com/production/wsa-mac/10.15/184.108.40.206/WSAMAC.dmg
Please let us know the outcome!
I have v. 220.127.116.11 : 1581 Since I reinstalled it this morning, it’s probably the latest.
It’s best then to Submit a Support Ticket and they will help you sort it out!
