Hello,
There are many alternative stores for ios and they can contain some viruses But the chance that you get caught by a virus is low in my opinion.
As long as you use only the apps from the Apple store and not something you
download from another website, you are pretty safe. You can get malware on an iPad if you install apps from untrusted sources (Anything outside of the App Store).
You should block third party ad/ tracking cookies from installing on your computer.
You will need to remove those ad/ tracking cookies ,
Go to Settings/Safari/ Block Cookies /you can chose from there Always Block, Allow from current Website Only/Allow Fro Websites I Visit or Always allow. (I choose on my iPad Allow from Websites I visit.
Then in Safari you can clear History and Website Data.
I do use SecureWeb Browser with Password Manager. You can download Webroot Secure Browser from the Apple Store.

At this time, there is not an antivirus option available for Apple iOS devices. Because of how Apple manages the apps available in their App Store, there is not a need for one currently. This may change in the future but at this time is is extremly hard/almost impossible to infect an iPad.
Webroot does offer two apps you can download from the App Store to backup your files and protect your internet browsing, called SecureWeb and Backup & Sync. You can find either of them by searching for "Webroot" in the App Store on your Apple iOS device. For more information on both of these products please use the information below.
