After downlading webroot on my lap-top I installed the smartphone app for webroot on my iphone.. But its asking for a invitation code??? - I never got one... what do I do now??

Welcome to the Community Forums.
As far as I understand it the invitation code is for the Webroot Business version only and the invitation code requires an Apple Certificate from the Apple site.
If you need instructions for the Webroot Business Version then you can go to the Online Account Console and following those instructions where there is detailed information in how to get the invitation code and Apple certificate.
If you actually wish to uninstall the Home as opposed to the Business version then you need to unstall the Business version and download and install the Home version instead (the Free SecureWeb Browser can be found here).
If all of this gets confusing then you can Submit a Support Ticket and get the Support Team to help you out.
