When attempting to log onto app, I input the first 3 characters for my security code, but it won't allow me to enter the last 3. My code includes numbers and symbols.

I presume that you are getting a Login Failed message and if you are then please look at this KB Article re. some common problems in this area as it may help may help as well.
CAn yo also give us some more information as to precisely what you are seeing when you attempt to log in as that may give us some more pointers although from what you say I am thinking 'caps lock'
Otherwise you may need to Submit a Support Ticket for assistance.
