From Google Play and make sure you pick the correct one for the product you have? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webroot.security&feature=more_from_developer if you want to clarify we can direct you to the correct version. http://www.webroot.com/En_US/consumer-compare.html

i know ,

but i think better make a general link for download file from webroot domain :

example : www.webroot.com/mobiledownload for manual download file .

same : http://www.trendmicro.com/mobiledownload

Or : webroot.com/mobile/adnroid     and www.webroot/mobile/iOS
and always upload latest file version .

A Big company must first Lean self services .

:D

Thanks ,

I will leave that to a Webroot Staff member to answer then!

This is an excellent idea - would you mind creating a New Idea for a publicly available download in the Ideas Exchange? 😃

I don't see point of having .apk files available. Android OS is the specific environment as regards applications installation and updates. Almost hundred percent of Android applications are maintaned via Google Play including WSA (all three versions). So can you explain a valid point of direct access to installation files?

Maybe if someone was sideloading apps on new devices, but this would be a small percentage of people and would be on newer devices that might not use the Android OS. In most cases I think you could just use Google Play as you mentioned.

I can see it being useful in some situations: I have a handy app on my phone that backs up the .apk of most programs that I install (paid downloads from Google Play usually do NOT  backup as they are protected).  In the event that a bad update/new version causes the app to be non functional, I can go back to the previous version until a fix comes out.

I do not know if this will work with Webroot, however.  Does the mobile version auto-update or would the end user be able to install a version previous to the current?  If the .apk was available as a straight download, users would be able to keep a backup copy that they can transfer from PC to mobile device if the need arose.

yes, for update it is automatically ,

But for download , i think better users can access both google play and webroot service ( webroot host ) .

availbale selfservice is better for some times and some users .

also if at some countries filter google play website , customers can access to webroot  .apk files for use webroot products .
or maybe other problems availble webroot service is better .

i traced and both symantec and trend micro upload .apk files on both google play and selfservice .

selfservicee ( user can download .apk files from links :   http://***.trendmicro.***/..../*.apk

Thank You .
