Webroot Mobile Flagging CSC.apk as threat - is this a false flag??
Hi, I'm trying to get some information if I have a legitimate issue on my phone or if this can be ignored. On Monday (4/22) Webroot mobile (Galaxy Note 9 on Android 9.0) started flagging apps I've been using for months as threats telling me they were Trojans. These apps hadn't been updated recently and were things like the Samsung calculator, an app called Trainerize, and something called CSC.apk (com.samsung.sec.android.application.csc). I used the option in Webroot to ignore the apps, updated my Webroot from the playstore and the Trainerize app and restarted my phone and the apps are no longer on the ignore list. However the CSC.apk is still flagged as a threat. I can't find any information about what this file does other than it has to do with some features on Samsung phones and when I tried removing the threat, Webroot wasn't able to. I've just let it be now thinking Webroot will update it's definitions and it will no longer flag this, but it's been 4 days now and i
Secure connection pop up on android Webroot Complete
I get a message "A secure connection could not be established to this site. Would you like to proceed? NO YES Does not matter if you hit yes or no it just goes about like normal either way. Have looked for answers high and low but only find things that do not relate to this error. Have tried restarting my wifi, phone etc. This is also happening on my wife's identical model. Anyone know what is going on?
Cannot remove threats after scanning!
Hi! Webroot detected 4 threats today. I tried removing the threats multiple times, but the app doesn't or can't. I tried removing each threat individually, but the app doesn't remove them. FYI: MOTO G5S PLUS, ANDROID 8.1.0, system update about 2 days ago I removed Bejeweled just in case - a pity, I had more than 7.7 million points. I searched other apps, but haven't downloaded any other apps recently. Rescanned 3 times; restarted phone, rescanned, tried removing all threats, but no go. Thank you! Website shortcuts on home screen
I would like to create a shortcut to a particular website using SecureWeb on my Android home screen. I don't want to make that site the start page, just a shortcut. Using Chrome it can be accomplished in the menu (Add to Home Screen) but I don't see that option in SecureWeb. Any ideas?
Can't remove a threat
SecureAnywhere preformed a scan found the threat Android.Scanner1.Bad Retail Demo Mode com.customermobile.preload.vzw And I cannot remove it by clicking the 'Remove Threat' button. Repeating the scan continues to find this threat and doesn't let me fix it. Appreciate any advice you can provide . Using a Google Pixel phone with latest OS.
Will the wipe occur if I transfer the lost phone number to a new phone and deactivate the lost cell
My cell phone was stolen. I have sent the wipe command but have not gotten confirmation that the phone received the wipe. I know that it will be sent as soon as anyone turns on the phone. Meanwhile I have ordered a new phone and I would like to transfer my tracfone minutes and phone number from the lost device to the new phone. I am wondering if webroot needs the old phone to retain the old phone number and be an active device on my tracfone account and on my webroot account in order for the wipe command to work. If someone tossed my phone into the trash after learning they could not access it, it may never be found but if it is found and someone charges it, I would like to be sure that the wipe occurs. If I transfer the lost phone number to a new phone and deactivate the lost device from my tracfone account, will the wipe still happen if the old phone is found? Do I need to keep the lost device active on the webroot account? Will a new device added to webro

Newbie qustion which app to use and why getting Secure Web Browsing not Compatible
Hello, I currently use Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete Family Pack (10 license) and love it on my PCs. For my phone, I recently downloaded and installed the "Webroot Security - Complete" app from the Google Play Store and installed it. All works fine except under the Secure Web Browsing, I am getting the "This feature is unavailable at this time. Your device is not currently compatible with Webroot Secure Browsing." I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active running Android 6.0.1. I am using the standard browser that comes with it. The question I have is that I read someone else had the same issue and the recommendation was to uninstall the app and then reinstall the "Security - Free" version. Then, after you do this and enter your product key, it should say, "Secure Anywhere Mobil Premier" on the top of the screen. My app says, "Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete". So which app should I have downloaded and be using? I am confused as to why this wou
Sometimes when I unlock my phone my browser will automatically pull up a website called "livemobile search". I first thought it was adware so I bought a subscription to webroot but I've scanned my phone a few times and nothing came up, anyone know what's wrong? Also I'm not sure why but Firefox used to automatically pull up but now it's chrome
No settings on the settings for secure anywhere
There's s blank screen under general settings in secure anywhere. The only heading is support options but still nothing listed. Is there something wrong? See attached screen shot.
Persistent Status not showing in mobile app
I had to install my app a couple times due to it showing me that I needed to do a security scan. After numerous scans I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app. This made the issue go away but now I find a new one. I keep getting the shield notification on my status bar as well as a dot on my app, meaning it needs my attention. Everything is in order and I have "fixed" once more all the issues that needed attention and yet it still shows me the notification. My notification says "No problems detected", I assumed it had something to do with the persistent status after a small research but that option is missing! I opened, closed, opened, restarted phone, still nothing. I have gone into General settings and I only see "Support Options" Nothing about "Persistent Status" underneath or around it. For now I'm just turning off all notifications from the app because at this point it feels like an eyesore. Is this an issue with the free version? I will upgrade to give extra protection
Paid for Premium. Tells me to Upgrade to Premium still.
This was the first purchase I made on my phone...but whatever I do, it tells me that I meed to upgrade to premium. I already have premium. To make it worse I can't find a way to simply call the company, instead It's a Community Forum?? I would think that this is all a scam if it wasnt for having Webroot on my laptop for three years... What am I supposed to do? I paid for premium but nothing happened, there was no change, and it insists that I need to pay for Premium... Please help. (The purchase did go through and its listed in my Google play. Running Android.)
Game app wants permission to be virus?
See pic of company GameSir's list of permissions. They advertise access to thousands of games when you buy their Android game controller but they dont advertise that you have to give their app permission to basically be a virus for access to all their best game features. How is this legal? Consumer Affairs time? See pic
