Smartphone Nokia 3.1 TA-1049 DS 2/16 Android 9 ("Android ONE" version). After the recent Mobile update V.126.96.36.199995, the WSA "Persistent Status" icon to indicate security status randomly vanishes. Also, simultaneously, Android's bubble notification attached to the Webroot shortcut icon also disappears. I'm wondering if those indications also mean WSA has terminated and has ceased security monitoring. Those indications don't reappear until the WSA shortcut icon is tapped as if to restart the app. This issue is in addition to to all the other deleterious issues the phone has since the update as discussed in other Community topic threads and recent Play Store reviews. None of the problems manifested on my phone until the recent WSA Mobile update.
I purchased 4 new Polaroid Tablets for my kids for Christmas. They are Polaroid PMID800 Tablets. I have been trying to purchase Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete for these tablets and 1 other laptop that has McAfee that is expiring this month. I currently have Webroot on my own laptop and love the service. I have spoken with your Sales Dept twice in the past 2 days as I cannot figure out how to download Webroot on the Tablets. They Tablets do not have the Google Playstore on them and when I spoke to sales they said I could download Webroot from that App but we don't have it.I called them back and they said to try downloading the playstore App and then downloading the free Webroot anitvirus. I tried that too but it won't let me download the playstore app because even though the Tablets are powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich they are not on the list of compatible tablets for Google Playstore at this time so I can't download it. Hope you can help, my kids are chomping at the bit to
Hi, I've been trying to set up SecureAnywhere Complete for Android, but every time I enter my details, I get an error saying: Account creation failed. The license check server returned an invalid response. Raw Error: License chech failed due to invalid keycode. Response code: 1 I'm using the same email and password details I use to access my account online, and the same license key for SecureAnywhere Complete 2012 that I have registered to that account (quadruple checked this, and even checked on the card that came with the installation media just in case there was some difference). This is now driving me nuts, as I just want to get SecureAnywhere Complete on my phone too. Any ideas?
Hi friends. My first call for help from a new member. I have added Secure Anywhere to my Samsung smartphone. On the device it shows: "You are protected," "No issues detected," "App configured for optimum security" and "Secure anywhere mobile complete." However when I log in to my account on my pcs. (two, one running W7, one running Vista), there is no mobile device shown covered. Also no Webroot app is shown on the Samsung. My questions are : is my mobile actually covered. and have I made an error in loading the software. Hope someone can help. Thanks. Arn.
When I scan my pixel 3 using webroot by clicking the "Scan for Viruses" button, I see a progress bar that says "scanning" very briefly and then it almost instantly goes to "Scan complete" with "no threats found". I have scanned many times before and this is unusual. When I logon to the webroot site, I can see that it thinks my phone needs attention. It says the current scan is out of date. I uninstalled/reinstalled and have the same issue.
I've been using Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobil since my first HTC Tbolt. It's great. I am now using an HTC DROID DNA WITH ANDROID 4.1.1. I just upgraded to the latest edition from your email (version 188.8.131.5237). Immediately after installing it, 6 apps that I have been using for months, are being flagged by the new Webroot as Trojans. The prior versions had cleared them. Is the update that much better at scanning, or are these flags most likely false positives. The apps are: 1. Aces Gin Rummy 2. Basketball Shots 3D 3. Subway Surf 4. Super Stickman Golf 1&2 5. Train Legend As mentioned before, I have been playing these apps for months with no flagging from the previous version of Webroot. Please advise. Thanks, Dr. Mark W. I recently renewed my WRSA Complete subscription and had to reinstall the mobile app onto my phone. During the activation process, I'm prompted to enter my email address, password, and Keycode. I input all of the correct info, but the system tells me that the "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect". At that moment, I remembered that I was previously directed to make a new user account from the web console to activate the product as a workaround a few months ago. I tried using that user account (again, with the right password/credentials), but the same error came back up. Will I have to make another user account to work around this again, and if so, how do I delete existing "users" from my account? There wasn't a clear way to do this in the "Manage Users" section of the web console. Any direction on this is greatly appreciated!

Hello, I have an HTC Legend phone, and I tried to run a Virus Scan. The following message occurs: Webroot failed to update its threat definitions. This likely means your device doesn't currently have internet access. You can continue your scan with the current definition set or cancel. Error: OutOfMemoryError processing def update. When I try to force definition updates the same error occurs. Can you help me. I don't want to continue run scans with old definitions, it won't be long before I'm not protected. Thanks.

Hi Folks, New here so pardon my newbie question. I bought Webroot Secure Anywhere for my PC & went to download for my Galaxy S7 Edge but see many choices. I have WSA free installed already but since I paid there should be a better option right? When I used the free mobile version to scan it asked for my keycode to activate additional features. Where do I get that? Thanks, Leroy Grey

I don't have an iphone. Just use the flip version. My wife is getting a new iphone Friday and was wondering can we load Webroot mobile app? And how do we do this. I am having a family member show her helpful tips on using it. Or does she even need it? Not sure. I read that iphones can get bugs but not sure. Anything you can share is appreciated.

I recently reloaded Webroot SecureAnywhere after resetting my Motorola Razr. After resetting my account and answering the security questions I decided to "locate" my phone to see how it works. The map came up on the Webroot website, it showed me where my phone was and I was happy. The next time i picked up my phone it is locked. The "Lock Screen" comes on for a half a second then the screen/phone shuts off again. I was careful not to select any other option, including "Lock" but "locate my device" but somehow the phone is locked. How do I unlock it? All looks well when I relog into My Webroot. The log shows I located the phone some minutes ago but does not indicate it is locked. Nor do I see any indication that indicates that the phone is locked or how to locked it. After continuing to play with the phone the lock screen comes on for a 1/2 second then the phone shuts down. Sometimes then next screen unlock screen comes on for t
Hi I renewed my licence with a new key code on Sunday, which is working fine on my pc. However, my mobile application is showing the licence as expired, even though it supposedly checks for licence updates every 24 hours. The 'force licence check' option is ghosted so I cannot select it. Please advise.
I purchase a web root Android program at Best Buy. I entered the code on the app and received an error that stated that the code was invalid. This software is new and was wrapped in the original plastic. Can someone please connect me to someone who can issue me a cold that works.
