My phone was stolen last night and I'm trying to figure out how to use the locate phone feature or at the very least, lock the device. When I log onto Webroot on a PC, I can't find anywhere where my phone is recognized as a device. How can I access my phone through my PC? I have been following this information: https://mobile.webroot.com/help/lost_device_protection.htm but it does me no good when I can't find the device. Please help. At the very least I would like to find comfort in locking my device ASAP.
I had to reset some things on my phone and was hoping to just download the Secure Anywhere Complete software like I did before and simply enter my email and password and keycode and be on my way but now it says my keycode is not associated with me any more. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated
I lost my phone, sent a scream to it via my computer, and it asks me for my Webroot password because my phone doesnt have a screen lock, but when i hit unlock it takes me to my screen lock. A few days ago someone accessed my Android phone through either the Wi-Fi or the Bleutooth port and installed an app that threatened to disable all data and Internet services. I suspect that it was a prank that doesn't actually do anything because there was no effect to the operation of my phone but it was insulting and irritating to have my phone attacked in this way. I have since installed Webroot Secure Anywhere and I was wondering if it prevents such attacks and does it log any information that would help me to identify the culprit if necessary?
Ok, I had a few issues getting secure anywhere complete keycode sorted - this is now done. I managed to install SecureAnywhere Complete android app onto my Galaxy Ace 2, I check MyWebroot, and the device was listed but showing as having 8 issues that need resolving. I look on the device, and it says there are no issues, however the webroot icon is not showing up in the notification area at the top of the screen. So I think I will try uninstalling and re-installing the app, it asks for a password - I enter the password I used to install the app and to log into myWebroot, and it is not accepted. I check the "Subscription Active" link on the app, and the correct keycode is listed, but no email address. When I log back into MyWebroot, the Ace 2 is no longer listed. So, the phone has webroot installed but seemingly not working properly, but I cannot remove the app to reinstall it because it appears the lack of email address in the subscription details of the app mean th
Web browser security warning (on both Amazon browser and Maxthon): "Your connection to this site may not be secure... the site's security credentials do not originate from a trusted authority" I am trying to clear an error which appears on the web but not in the app: "current scan out of date" but that's months ago and there is no way to clear this error. So i thought I'd go on the web from the Kindle Fire, but I get this error on both web browsers. - ????
How easy will it be to extend my Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Complete protection to my new smartphone mobile device HTC One 4g LTE and how long should it take? Do I download all three apps, SecureAnywhere, SecureSync, and SecureWeb, or are these three apps installed together? I have never had a smart phone before and am a new Webroot products user.
I had to do a factory reset on my phone. When I redownloaded Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete and tried to login I got this error message: "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." I am using the same email and password that I use to login to mywebroot on my PC. Any ideas on why it won't work and what I need to do? Thanks. I have checked out the post in knowledge base regarding this issue and still have no luck. I've reset my password, made sure capslock wasn't on, my device isn't rooted, etc.
i have an android phone, which is protected by webroot, i have a pattern unlock and when i changed the pattern i couldn't remember the pattern i had chosen so it went to a screen to use my google accout to log in, but it wont accept that either, says e-mail or password wrong, but it is not, now i cannot access my phone.., HELP!!
Please help me. My mobile device Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 is locked by Webroot security. I change my chip (from 55 22 99462322 to 55 22 88043550) and the password (edit: removed user's password for security purposes) is unrecognized. How to proceed? Thanks. SERGIO VIANNA PEREIRA.
After running a scan of my on Sept. 11th of this year, I saw that the App had a message asking me to upgrade to the premier version.I was really confused because I had already purchased it maybe 5-6 months ago for something like $19.95. I immediatly opened up the " Play Store " app on my phone and navigated to the " My App's " page, found the Webroot Premier icon, clicked it, and was taken to the Play Store page where your App is located. As soon as the app page came up, I was asked to confirm my purchase. I exited back out to my apparently and found that I was being charged THE $19.95 AGAIN for the app! I went straight to the email link and sent this exact message ( on Sept. 11th ). I only recently recieved a reply telling me to ask for help here. So, here it goes......HELP!!!
I have installed Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile (Version 18.104.22.16871) on my HTC One X (not-rooted) and during a device scan, it hangs on "Scanning SD Card" and never completes. The HTC One X does not have an SD Card, only internal memory. How do I correct this so that the scan completes and Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile functions?
I'm running on Toshiba Thrive updated with Android 4.0x Scans, both scheduled and manual, run normally and report "finished", but the program fails to updated the status. Even immediately after a "finished" scan, I still get the warning that the last scan was more than a week ago. I'm also getting periodic ""Webroot Stopped" messages, probably due to a program timeout when trying to update the status.
I purchased 4 new Polaroid Tablets for my kids for Christmas. They are Polaroid PMID800 Tablets. I have been trying to purchase Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete for these tablets and 1 other laptop that has McAfee that is expiring this month. I currently have Webroot on my own laptop and love the service. I have spoken with your Sales Dept twice in the past 2 days as I cannot figure out how to download Webroot on the Tablets. They Tablets do not have the Google Playstore on them and when I spoke to sales they said I could download Webroot from that App but we don't have it.I called them back and they said to try downloading the playstore App and then downloading the free Webroot anitvirus. I tried that too but it won't let me download the playstore app because even though the Tablets are powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich they are not on the list of compatible tablets for Google Playstore at this time so I can't download it. Hope you can help, my kids are chomping at the bit to
