Good afternoon, I just installed Webroot on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9. As part of the set up I wanted to set up the password and set WR as a device administrator. The webroot set up keeps telling me the device administrator is in an unsafe status. When I click on the fix button it takes me back to set up screen and I end up going into the loop seeing the same thing. When I go to the kindles settings page it will not let me select Webroot as an administrator, it shows up under the administrator section but is not selected. Any idea how to fix this so I can lock down the system with a password? Thanks
note: A copy of this was sent to support as a ticket, but I thought I'd post here as well. It's been edited for the forum. I purchased SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus from Newegg last week with a 3 device 1 yr. key. I was not quite ready to use it on my PC yet because I am currently using Outpost on my XP partition and System Mechanic Pro w/ System Shield on my W7 partition and have been quite satisfied with the protection they afford. I now have a Hisense Sero 7 Pro. I decided to log-in to the account tonight and see if I could at least activate the Android install with my new "bought" key. I located the install instructions, downloaded Webroot Security & Antivirus as instructed, installed it on the tablet and then enabled "premium" features by using the new key. Everything was fine and then in the second set of instructions it said to download and install Webroot SecureWeb Browser in order to get password management which is one of the biggest reasons I bought this.
I've been using Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobil since my first HTC Tbolt. It's great. I am now using an HTC DROID DNA WITH ANDROID 4.1.1. I just upgraded to the latest edition from your email (version 184.108.40.20637). Immediately after installing it, 6 apps that I have been using for months, are being flagged by the new Webroot as Trojans. The prior versions had cleared them. Is the update that much better at scanning, or are these flags most likely false positives. The apps are: 1. Aces Gin Rummy 2. Basketball Shots 3D 3. Subway Surf 4. Super Stickman Golf 1&2 5. Train Legend As mentioned before, I have been playing these apps for months with no flagging from the previous version of Webroot. Please advise. Thanks, Dr. Mark W. Hi, I am using Voxofon on my Android phone which places international calls using SIP. I have never had problems with this and other call blockers like Call Control. I have "Block unidentified numbers" set in SecureAnywhere which is important to me since I recieve a lot of unwanted international calls I need to block. This works fine except for the fact that when I place calls using VoxoFon in SIP mode my outgoing calls are blocked by SecureAnywhere. Let's say I call +47 6713 2230. When the call is being set up I get a popup from SecureAnywhere saying sip:+<firstname.lastname@example.org:5070> is being blocked. That is the number I am placing a call to, not an incoking call. Since there's no whitelist available I am stuck and have to use another call blocker. I really wish a whitelist was provided and also a way to add numbers with wildcards both to a black and whitelist which would make it possiblke to block all toll free calls. I am using SecureAnywhere on all my

Hi, due to having quite a number of problems during the last 6 months with my Kindle which has resulted in my having to reset it to factory settings I now find that I cannot use the above software (downloaded & paid for from the Amazon app store) due to my registering it too many times, I have deleted all the entries from my online webroot account but still I can't use the app, it has been working for around 5-6 months with no problem & until tonight I could just enter my account details no problem, it says the device currently doesn't have internet access & underneath it says key attachment has been exceeded yet I can access the web & download other apps with no problem.
Hi I've been using Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier & thought I'd test this app with the eicar test virus, I'm disappointed to say it did not prevent the download nor did it find the test (.txt & .zip versions) virus when running a scan. I'd like to know whether there's a reason for this or whether I've wasted my money? Tia, Doctor9fan.
I have had this tablet for a while now, and bought a NextBook recently. I set up the NextBook with a pin number for the Lock Screen feature, but I can't find out how to set the Samsung with a pin number, it says it is protected with the LockScreen in place. How do I find where to put the pin number in?
