Does anyone else have issues with the Password Protection feature turning off? Everytime this happens, it shows that my sd card is not connected and I would have to constantly re-enter my pw on webroot app to enable admin access to my phone. I have the GS2 running android 4.1.
First I apologize if this isn't the right forum. I looked around and this seemed to be the best fit I could find. I'm looking for advice from knowledgeable and experienced individuals on going forward after a Malvertising hit? First the background information, I'm running a Verizon Samsung Note 3 with the stock firmware that is currently up to date as far as I'm aware the last update was about a month ago. I'm running Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile on the system and it is also up to date. I was using the stock browser and was looking at older video game consoles on GameStop's website when I got hit by a Malvertising ad. Not once during this whole process did Webroot register any hits or block anything. First a typical fake virus ad popped up then nearly immediately another page popped up that appeared to be in maybe Russian? Then the system began to download a file all in a matter of seconds. I hadn't even had
Secure Anywhere for Android beta has started giving a message on my phone that "You might be at risk - Current scan out of date" I then run a scan and the message does not go as it should bet remains. This started yesterday and prior to that all was quiet and running smoothly in the back ground. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have a valid resolution to the problem.
Installed on different computer and purchased renewal. When trying to download, message "The keycode could not be verified at this time. Ensure that Secure Anywhere is allowed to connect to the internet and try again" popped up. I tried turning off the firewall protection and redownloading, but got the same message. Then I tried uninstalling the previoius version of Webroot, but when entering the keycode again after trying to redownload I got a message that the keycode was verified but expired.
For what seems like the fifth time in as many months, Webroot has greeted me with a "You may be at risk" Alert on my Android Device. OK! Except, as it turns out I was NEVER actually at risk, it was just my security provider, LYING to me and apparently using SCARE TACTICS to get me to agree to changes in contract terms. Webroot is supposed to be protecting me, not BULLYING me. The mixed message is frustrating and confusing. If you need me to agree to new contract terms, please simply ask me to do so. Alarming me with a notice that is completely unrelated smacks of practices commonly used by cyber-criminals to phish. By using the "you may be at risk" to deliver an otherwise benign message make it sound like a threat. Like you intend to PUT my device at risk if I don't agree to terms. Frankly I'm shocked that apparently, no red flags have gone off at Webroot over this. At the very least, this whole practice is both passive-aggressive and just a bit on the greasy side of unprofessional. I
I just tried to assist my friend by adding Webroot SecureAnywhere to his Windows PC and his LG Android phone, similar to what I have (except I have an Android Pixel 4a phone). The windows installation on his PC went fine and it is working properly. However, The installation on his Android LG ThinQ phone failed with:oauth2.webrootservices.com sent an invalid responseERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROROf course, it is the lame NEW browser-type mobile app that is massively inferior to the previous standard app. I can still install the old standard app (until August 2022) and it looked to work including acceptance of the Keycode but immediately directed me to the upgrade to the new lame app which immediately fails as above every time. The phone was cold booted a few times too - no help. My friend paid for mobile protection but is not getting it. Any ideas? Thank you.

I didn unistall the app. In my mobile phone (Android) the websecure app is working good but now I don't see my device anymore in the web console. How to re-add it?Thanks

A few months ago I purchased Secure Anywhere Essentials as I did not have a smart phone. Well, now I do and I can't upgrade to the mobile app via the website. When I click on Mobile app upgrade, I go to the cofigurator site which says I already have Secure Anywhere Complete and only gives me the option to increase backup webspace. I tried installing the Mobile Secure Anywhere complete app on my Droid phone and it installs, but when I get to the login keycode, It says I don't have the right keycode. I took it straight out of the software. What can I do to upgrade so I can protect my new smartphone?
I download the app several times and when I try to put in my email, password and keycode it gives me error message saying email and password not correct. I use the same email and password when I created the account when I purchased the software. I go in to the desktop website it works. But here it don't seem to work.
Hello, I use Webroot on my PC's and mobiles, and I'm happy with them, but I'm a bit lost about what soft to use or to know which version is the latest. To cut it short, what's best (paid) version for mobile : Secure Anyhwere (the one istalled now) ? Secure Anywhere Mobile Premier ? Secure Web ? Honest it's not very clear .... The same for the "latest update" ... Thanks for more informations All the best
I have Internet Security Complete 2013 for 5 devices. So far, I've only used it on 3 PCs. I've ordered an Amazon Fire Phone and want to ensure it's protected. Since the Fire OS is a fork of Android, I'd like to know if my Webroot product will work on the phone. Thank you.
