Sorry in advance if this was asked before. I am trying to improve the security of my mobile in case it will be stolen. Is there any benefit to move webroot mobile security to the system application folder? I am trying to make the phone hard reset proof but I am not sure if this will help to have webroot surviving a reset or if settings will be anyway gone with a reset and the application will not running anymore. I am just trying to avoid experimenting as you may know already the answer... Thanks a lot for any help on this. Cheers, Fax

Hi. I've got a concern about webroot on my android phone. This evening while I was making a call, my phone came up with the "device locked" message. This is despite the fact that I had not activated any of the lost device protection actions, changed my sim card or done anything that should have resulted in my device being locked. I also noticed that the "emergency call" feature of the locked device screen didn't work - pressing it just prompted me to enter my password again, so had I needed to make an emergency call during this time I would have been unable to, which is a bit worrying. I have since managed to unlock it by resetting my password online, but I am concerned about how it came to be locked in the first place. I use this phone for work, so if this were to happen again during the work day and prevent me from making or answering calls it would be a big problem for me. Would anyone be able to let me know why my device might have been locked? Prior to th
I have recently resubbed to Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete 5 Seat 1 Year Subscription International and installed the mobile app on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Looking in my web console and the phone number for my mobile is incorrect. When I bought my phone (at Christmas) I had the number changed to my previous phone number, but it's the number that it shipped with that's being used by Webroot. How do I change this? Unless I can do so the lost phone feature will be useless :( Thanks in advance.
I have webroot security complete on my PC and I would like to have the app on my Kindle Fire HD tablet. But I keep getting the "login failed". I've double checked my login account email, password, and code. When I log into my webroot security account on the web, it works perfectly fine.
Every few days, webroot tells me I may be at risk. It then prompts for a scan to be manually run, and to manually re-enable all the features, which it shows are disabled. Anybody know why it keeps turning it's features off, and why the scheduled scan doesn't seem to make it happy?

HI, i am also recieving the error message: login failed. the e-mail and password you entered is incorrect, when i attempt to enter my premium webroot account info onto my google nexus 7 android 4.2 tablet. I have just purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete. I have successfully installed and registered it on two laptops. I have just installed it on my Android phone, however, it is saying that there is only 3 days left of the subscription (the trial period I guess). I have already entered product key number. I don't know where to go from here. Also when I log into my account, the PC Security section shows there are currently no PC's installed or protected when in reality there is. Will.
I purchase a web root Android program at Best Buy. I entered the code on the app and received an error that stated that the code was invalid. This software is new and was wrapped in the original plastic. Can someone please connect me to someone who can issue me a cold that works.
Hello, When I login to 'mywebrootsecureanywhere' acccount I can see my protected pc's and mobile phone. So far so good. However, in the mobile security box I find that I have to look to my mobile device. So that is what I do. Then I find the remark that the defenitions are out of date. But, as far as I know they are very up to date; they were update a few hours ago; I have now: 3.1 Build 4547 So, somehow webroot does not register these updates (I have had this 'issue from the very beginning, after switsching from Spysweeper to WebrootSecureAnywhere. Although not a big problem, it is a bit annoying. Any solution(s)?
Since I already have Webroot installed on my android phone, I am wondering if Webroot will add some sort of "locate phone" feature. There appear to be other apps that do this. And for iPhones this service is provided via Apples's iCloud service.
Web browser security warning (on both Amazon browser and Maxthon): "Your connection to this site may not be secure... the site's security credentials do not originate from a trusted authority" I am trying to clear an error which appears on the web but not in the app: "current scan out of date" but that's months ago and there is no way to clear this error. So i thought I'd go on the web from the Kindle Fire, but I get this error on both web browsers. - ????
Will Webroot work on a Kindle Fire HD?Knowledge Base
Question
Will Webroot work on a Kindle Fire HD?
Answer
Yes, however Amazon made a change in a recent update to the Kindle Fire HD, which prevents Device Administrator from being enabled for 3rd party applications. The Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile app requires Device Administrator to use Lost Device Protection. Due to the limitations imposed by the device manufacturer, some normal app features, such as Wipe and password protection during uninstallation, may not function correctly.
I have secure anywhere complete but when I download mobile antivirus it installs secureweb. I don't want the secureweb because it's slow and very buggy and constantly crashes on every site, even google.. Can I have one without the other? Also does it count as a new serial use everytime I reinstall webroot on my phone?
Unexpectedly and out of the blue late at night my Galaxy S-II Webroot Mobile Secure Anywhere app asked if I wanted to go ahead and designate my four digit code thus locking my "mobile smartphone screen" until I entered said code.
