I recently just reset my phone thinking that it would make a bug go away. I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII, and I bought the premier version during black Friday for $1.07. After reinstalling Webroot, I have the free version, and I am unable to reupdate my app to the permier version. Can someone help me?
This problem has happened several times in the last couple of days where I take my phone out and it says "No SIM card". I turned off SIM card lock protection but that didn't help. A simple restart of my phone is all it takes to get the SIM card recognized again. Webroot must be doing something else in the background as part of it's lockdown of the SIM card that it causing this problem. Anyone else have something similar? And suggestions on how to fix it without restarting? It's a bit annoying, so if there is no fix, I'll just have to uninstall Webroot entirely. Thanks for the help!
I am getting an e mail / password mismatch when trying to install the complete mobile on a tablet. I recall when I installed it on my phone ;you needed to fix "something". I have tried resetting my webroot password. Please help so I can get my mobile and desktop id's all synced up.
Hi Webroot Community, I think the product is great or at least the scanning files app that I've used (haven't had to use the wipe remote feature thankfully) but I have enough going on in my Android header that I'd like to get rid of the green "W" icon in the upper left corner but still have the app running in the background. Hi, I recently insalled Webroot Security & Antivirus for my Android phone. I like the app alot but I sadly had to uninstall the program due to lack of space in my phone. I logged into webroot as well and removed the device from where I'd registered it. My problem is whenever I turn on my phone the screen lock thing still comes up (where it wants my security/pass number). I do not know how to get rid of the screen. I can get into my phone and everything but I just don't want the security screen to keep coming up every time even though I've uninstalled the app. I can't find any thing about this through my searches or in the options in my phone. Please help.
I recently reloaded Webroot SecureAnywhere after resetting my Motorola Razr. After resetting my account and answering the security questions I decided to "locate" my phone to see how it works. The map came up on the Webroot website, it showed me where my phone was and I was happy. The next time i picked up my phone it is locked. The "Lock Screen" comes on for a half a second then the screen/phone shuts off again. I was careful not to select any other option, including "Lock" but "locate my device" but somehow the phone is locked. How do I unlock it? All looks well when I relog into My Webroot. The log shows I located the phone some minutes ago but does not indicate it is locked. Nor do I see any indication that indicates that the phone is locked or how to locked it. After continuing to play with the phone the lock screen comes on for a 1/2 second then the phone shuts down. Sometimes then next screen unlock screen comes on for t

I purchased 4 new Polaroid Tablets for my kids for Christmas. They are Polaroid PMID800 Tablets. I have been trying to purchase Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete for these tablets and 1 other laptop that has McAfee that is expiring this month. I currently have Webroot on my own laptop and love the service. I have spoken with your Sales Dept twice in the past 2 days as I cannot figure out how to download Webroot on the Tablets. They Tablets do not have the Google Playstore on them and when I spoke to sales they said I could download Webroot from that App but we don't have it.I called them back and they said to try downloading the playstore App and then downloading the free Webroot anitvirus. I tried that too but it won't let me download the playstore app because even though the Tablets are powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich they are not on the list of compatible tablets for Google Playstore at this time so I can't download it. I am using Webroot on the KF-1. The App works beautifully ,....Except the location does not work and I receive a "google map error" There is an updated/upgraded version which is availble but I do not know if that will work. Any help will be appreciated. Ed
Hi Guys, On upgrading to Android 4.2 and installing a second user. I had to reinstall webroot on the new account - Fairly straight forward The icon at the top of the screen on the second account is not green however, it is grey stating that "password protection is disabled" - There does not appear an option to rectify this. A few days ago someone accessed my Android phone through either the Wi-Fi or the Bleutooth port and installed an app that threatened to disable all data and Internet services. I suspect that it was a prank that doesn't actually do anything because there was no effect to the operation of my phone but it was insulting and irritating to have my phone attacked in this way. I have since installed Webroot Secure Anywhere and I was wondering if it prevents such attacks and does it log any information that would help me to identify the culprit if necessary?
I recently renewed my WRSA Complete subscription and had to reinstall the mobile app onto my phone. During the activation process, I'm prompted to enter my email address, password, and Keycode. I input all of the correct info, but the system tells me that the "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect". At that moment, I remembered that I was previously directed to make a new user account from the web console to activate the product as a workaround a few months ago. I tried using that user account (again, with the right password/credentials), but the same error came back up. Will I have to make another user account to work around this again, and if so, how do I delete existing "users" from my account? There wasn't a clear way to do this in the "Manage Users" section of the web console. Any direction on this is greatly appreciated!
Hi I seem to be having same problem as many others using webroot on android. It says that my email or password is invalid. It isn't as I can easily log into my account on my PC. However not on my mobile or tablet using exactly the same details. Is there a problem - with so many posts on this topic does seem to be Thanks for any helo you can give
Hi I renewed my licence with a new key code on Sunday, which is working fine on my pc. However, my mobile application is showing the licence as expired, even though it supposedly checks for licence updates every 24 hours. The 'force licence check' option is ghosted so I cannot select it. Please advise.

I'm running on Toshiba Thrive updated with Android 4.0x Scans, both scheduled and manual, run normally and report "finished", but the program fails to updated the status. Even immediately after a "finished" scan, I still get the warning that the last scan was more than a week ago. I'm also getting periodic ""Webroot Stopped" messages, probably due to a program timeout when trying to update the status.
We bought the Secure Anywhere so it could be installed on 3 different machines. Using the. CD the first install went ok on a Win7 Laptop.The second install was for a ASUS TF300T Tablet. First the link for an Internet download was not right.Instead of presenting a downloafd link I was given a choice to buy or download a cheaper version.I called Bestbuy where it was purchased and told them the link didnt work. This woman had me try all kinds of links before we fuinally got to a account setup. The connection was lost or she hung up but Initial login was interupted. I tried to sign in multiple times, tried to open a new account. I need to gett with someone thhat can reset the account.The software is installed now.Itjust needs to be Authorised. Hello, Just installed WM on my Galaxy SIII and WM itself shows : In the WM "battery controller" :consumption at 33% (second rank after display !) In the WM "actual consumption" : 3.63 % But, since it's installed, battery loading is much longer than before. Did I something wrong in the config, and how can I change that ?? Thanks for your help
Hello Moderator and other members, Its urgents and need your help .. I just pulled out my sim rfom the phone and now webroot is asking for the Webroot ID password to unlock the same.. I don't remember it, so I reset the password with the link provided and now the problem is, I don't have any DATA connection in my phone as I switched off the WIFI in phone last time.. Even I don't have any DATA in my SIM.. I have very important data in the phone and I need it on urgent basis.. That's the reason I cannot Factory reset the phone even.. Find me a solution pleaseeeeee...!! Thanks in advance
My phone was stolen last night and I'm trying to figure out how to use the locate phone feature or at the very least, lock the device. When I log onto Webroot on a PC, I can't find anywhere where my phone is recognized as a device. How can I access my phone through my PC? Please help. At the very least I would like to find comfort in locking my device ASAP.
Hello, a little help will be appreciated. My WSA software on my phone was working ok this morning 12/12/2012, I logged into my account thru my pc, no problem, there it tells me I have a problem in my mobile device, I tried to log into my phone and keep on getting a message that reads: "ERROR: login failed. The E-mail or password you entered is incorrect", I am using the same e-mail and password that I used to log into my pc account and still not working. any ideas on what could be wrong? PS. I also entered both the OLD and NEW full code just to make sure. and nothing. Any advice will be appreciated. thanks in advance.
