Webroot found Mobile Tracker (com.sec.android.app.mt) on my phone and considers it to be a virus. From previous posts, I have told it to ignore it, but it turns up every time WR scans my phone. My understanding id this is a system app? Looks like WR has known abouut it for a while, say 2014. Has this been resolved or is it a new occurence?
Guys! I dont know why is this important point missing from your application regarding security of Mobile Android devices. I have signed up for Trial version from your website and tried testing it on our devices to see if security policy is really in favour of my company. Issue Details: Android version 5 and above. Android -> Settings -> Users -> Add User Or Profile. Once we change the user account from Owner to a guest account / or simply add another user, then, your application stops controling the device. Anybody who knows how to change this setting can deactivate your application easliy in few seconds. Do you have any alternative settings to do here which i might have missed?!?!?! Please give me an update if you're going to add this point in your next update and when? i am in hurry to decide which security application should i finalize for my company. Your prompt reply will be appreciated. thanks! Mike.
I have just renewed my webroot security system on my laptop, can I do the same on my Android and my two tablets as well for the same price or do I have to purchase it for all my equipment? Thank You, Sheila D.
I have set up unlocking by face recognition on my Moto G 2nd gen. However, there are no instructions on haw you use it. I have tried holding it up and looking into the camera but nothing happens. Also, the staying unlocked at home doesn't work. I set it up and it recognised my address correctly but the phone still locks itself when I am at home. Any help with either problem would be gratefully accepted. Webroot support offered no help whatsoever. Their only suggestion was to try the "community".
I have an HTC One M9 with Android 6.0. I had to get a new phone and I'm trying to setup Webroot Secure Anywhere on it. I reset my password so I know it is correct. Whenever I try to login to my account within the app I get an error message. It says, "Error Account creation failed. The license check server returned an invalid response. Unexpected: 1 Error (URFM 997) Key attachment has been exceeded. [Failure Type = unexpected error (-1)] Please help. What do I do. When I signed into my account in my browser, it said I have 333 days left. Dr. Mark W. Helfand HTC One M9 Android 6.0 Not Rooted
