I know you probably been there and done that with my issue. I purchased the Webroot Security for my Samsung Galaxy 4-5 months ago, recently purchased new HTC Android phone. I have the Webroot on my new android, would like it deactivated on my Samsung so I can give the phone to my sister. Can you help me with this? Thanks Much!

I clicked on a link to a web survey (on google docs) and when I used the standard browser in android, Webroot popped up and said that the page might contain malware or spam and wanted to know if I wanted to continue. When I tried the same link with either the Dolphin or Firefox browsers, I expected to get the same message from Webroot. Much to my disappointment, Webroot did not pop anything up with either of these browsers, so my question is: Does Webroot support these browsers? It does not appear that it does support these browsers, which makes me sad for 2 reasons: 1) I have been using Webroot on my phone and have thought that my browsing was protected and 2) I really like Webroot, but if it only supports the standard browser, then I am going to have to look elsewhere for my security needs. I am using a Motorola Atrix 4G with stock android 2.3.6.
I lost my phone on Saturday and I have the remote lock service activated. I have sent the scream and the locate commands but it appears mt device is not online. The history tab shows that the device last checked in 2 days ago. My question is if I rechange my phone service to another device then If whoever has my phone turns it on will the device lock or will my info on the phone be available to who has it? What is the best way to handle this?

I had to reset some things on my phone and was hoping to just download the Secure Anywhere Complete software like I did before and simply enter my email and password and keycode and be on my way but now it says my keycode is not associated with me any more. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated
With the Webroot Secure call blocker, the phone rings ONCE and THEN the call gets blocked. However, with my previous app ([i]Easy Filter Call and SMS Blocker[/i] by [i]Moonbeam[/i]), the phone does NOT ring at all. When will this be fixed? -------- (Latest update of Android on Xperia Pro)
Ive just installed the webroot on my Sony Xperia S wich have Android 4.0 .The antivirus ran fine, and from mobile.webroot.com I can see the phone registered and providing information. I just have a problem , I wanted to make a test to lock my mobile from the website or just use the google map locator device but when I enter to the webpage it says that the lost device protection is not turned on. I restart my phone and turned off and on again the lost device proteccion and its says everything its ok on my mobile. The problem is that the webpage mark as if were turned off. I also logged out on my website account and loggged in again to see if something happens but it remains in the same status Is this a shincronizing problem? Can you help me pls? Thanks
when i log in to mywebrootsecureanywhere, it shows one mobile device (my samsung) protected. when i click on add a mobile device from my wife's lg, an android device, the webroot secure anywhere site shows the application already installed. but it isn't. how to get it installed?
Hello, I have an HTC Legend phone, and I tried to run a Virus Scan. The following message occurs: Webroot failed to update its threat definitions. This likely means your device doesn't currently have internet access. You can continue your scan with the current definition set or cancel. Error: OutOfMemoryError processing def update. When I try to force definition updates the same error occurs. Can you help me. I don't want to continue run scans with old definitions, it won't be long before I'm not protected. Thanks.
I have webroot installed on my mobile phone and have been using it fine for weeks. I used the phone in an airport OK and turned it off. I then needed to make another call and turned on the phone and up came the red webroot locked message. I did not ask for the phone to be locked and no one else has access to do that, so why did it happen? PS, I am not switching SIM card or anything like that. Just turned off the phone completely and turned it on again later to make a call.
AT&T email and Dolphin Browser for tablets Ver 1.0 are leaving advertising apps on my homescreen. Is there a way that I can use Webroot to block this unwanted activity? I am concerned about collection of personal data since I have no idea how deep this intrusion goes, nor any idea of how to stop it.

I am having a similar issue as several others on various postings but I'm unable to get a resolution so I thought I'd ask here. I have two PC's protected and working fine. My wife and I have exactly the same Android phones. My phone works fine but I am unable to log into Webroot through her phone and the the "the email or password you entered is incorrect". The online interface shows her phone "needing attention" and that the "USB debugging is enabled" where in fact it is not. I am unable to make the program run at all on her phone. Her phone did work just fine when new and she broke that phone and got an exact replacement and ATT moved her SIM card to the new phone. This is approximately when we started having issues with her Webroot software not working. What can I do to fix this? Thanks.
I bought Webroot Secure Complete 6 months ago and loaded it onto my computer, no problems. Now today, 06/16, bought my first ever android phone (Galaxy Ace) and thought that it was sensible to protect that as well. I've followed the Mobile Help instructions for downloading the app from the Google store onto my phone and the three icons have appeared in my app list. However, when I attempt to log in to my Webroot account via my mobile phone, using my username, password and keycode, it states that either the username or password is incorrect. (The email address on my mobile phone is not autofilled with an incorrect address.) This is despite me being able to login to my account on my computer using the same username and password. Also, my mobile phone has not appeared in the list of protected devices on my account. Any ideas why please?
i have installed webroot mobile security and antivirus on my android device but i cannot get started. it asks me to create a webroot account but when i try to sign in it displays an error message"your device currently doesn't have internet connection. raw error: malformed licence check responce received". this doesn't mean anything at all because i have internet connection perfectly well. in order to sign in i had to visit webroot's url. but still when i tried to log in, the same problem occured. please let me know why is it happening? **edit for useful subject -admin
