I need to change my boss computer to the computer I am using right now. My cell phone has a virus and I don't know how to fix it. I was downloading an app from Amazon to my kindle. My kindle started flashing saying my cell phone has a virus. I shut the phone down but can't get back on. Thank you Janene McGuire firstname.lastname@example.org
I saw an interview on Fox news about haw practically all flashlight programs contain malware. They also said you needed to do a factory reset to clear out the RATs. (Remote access trojans) The following is a link to the report. Hi. I currently have a subscription of Webroot SecureAnywhere Antivirus for Windows (1 device only). Yesterday I thought it would be nice to install Webroot in my Android smartphone too, so I downloaded it from Play Store. There it says that the mobile antivirus can be used for free, without any keycode. When I installed it, Webroot asked for my user account so the anti-theft protection could be enabled, so I provided it. But when I access the product settings (registration), my keycode for the PC version is someway shown there (the keycode that was supposed to cover only one device). Even so, my smartphone doesn't appear in my web console. It says I should upgrade my Webroot product. Why? I should be able to use the Mobile Security for free, and it doesn't work without the console. Is there a way I can use both my Webroot SecureAnywhere Antivirus (paid, for PC, one device) and the Webroot Mobile Free Version in my smartphone with the same user account, and make the smartphone show u
Webroot mobile used to have a security app and a browser app. I never used the browser since everything I have is synced to Vivladi. Webroor security was alwys running on my phone. Now it appears that the security and the browser have been merged into one app and my android phone is only secure when I use the Webroot Browser. Since everything I have is synced to Vivaldi, I don’t want the Webroot browser. Now this once useful app is useless. Since Webroot was gobbled up by Carbonite it has ceased to be what it once was. After over ten years when my subscription expires I will sadly being saying good bye to Webroot.
On my Samsung S22, after install, I’m receiving the below error message. Whatever I try, I cannot get to the login screen.New account created, I do not have any other security app installed, no ads blocker app, etc.Please advise.“Information has not been verified yet”
I am having a problem with Password Protection. I have an alert saying there are items that require my attention The message tels me Password Protection isTurned OFF and goes on to say Webroot needs my password. I select the Fix This Now button I enter my password on the pop-up screen. After a while the Verifying password... wheel stops turning and I get a new screen inviting me to activate Lost Device "Protection including the message "Activate Device Administration on the next screen" I select the Next button I then get a screen that sets out all the warings about what activating adminsitrator will allow ... I select activate and it takes me back to the start. There is no indication that there is an issue with the activation but obviously there is. I have a Galaxy S3 (GT-I9305) recently upgrated to 4.4.4 and version 18.104.22.16800 of Webroot (Definition set 1196). Can anyone help? Thanks
I just tried to assist my friend by adding Webroot SecureAnywhere to his Windows PC and his LG Android phone, similar to what I have (except I have an Android Pixel 4a phone). The windows installation on his PC went fine and it is working properly. However, The installation on his Android LG ThinQ phone failed with:oauth2.webrootservices.com sent an invalid responseERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROROf course, it is the lame NEW browser-type mobile app that is massively inferior to the previous standard app. I can still install the old standard app (until August 2022) and it looked to work including acceptance of the Keycode but immediately directed me to the upgrade to the new lame app which immediately fails as above every time. The phone was cold booted a few times too - no help. My friend paid for mobile protection but is not getting it. Any ideas? Thank you.
