I recently installed NordVPN on both my GalaxyS7 and my PC. I recently realized that SecureAnywhere was not even running and crashed multiple times on my phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled but when I went to scan for viruses the Error Code 1011 came up stating "Limited or No Connectivity" Once I disconnected from the VPN the scan ran correctly. Has anyone else experienced something similar to this? I opened a chat with NordVPN yesterday and the guy told me he didnt use antivirus software so he couldn't relate to my issue....

Hello @morgand12 and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

There are major issues with the current release version for Android and Webroot is working on a fix so have a look here: https://community.webroot.com/webroot-mobile-security-for-android-15/webroot-mobile-security-and-antivirus-android-app-testing-high-cpu-issue-338055 and here on the newer Beta testing builds: https://community.webroot.com/webroot-mobile-security-for-android-15/beta-webroot-mobile-5-5-5-338080 make sure you read both threads through out!

Thanks,

Thank you! I also noticed the app is crashing again without the VPN being active but I will follow the link for the upgrade mentioned and see how that goes.

Myself and several other WSA Mobile users have posted about having the same scan error 1011 issue with the "Private Internet Access" (PIA) VPN service. However there wasn't any problem before the WSA update at the end of March.

Well thats good to hear. I started using the VPN this month so must have been coincidence.

I don't have any issues with the 2 VPN's I use which is Webroot WiFi Security and IVPN on my Android phone.

The only time I get the error code 1011 is when I try to run a scan while connected to the VPN. I can disconnect for the VPN server and immediatly go back to SecureAnywhere and run the scan just fine. I have read about other antivirus products blocking VPNs but not the other way around, which seems to be my issue.

Thanks,

Just throwing this out there, because I appreciate the support I have found here so far. I followed the first link which mentioned an upgrade that would make me a tester. Did that. I was notified that I had become a tester and that it might take a little while for the update to take effect (to version 5.5.5). Its been several hours, I restarted my phone and SecureAnywhere app but I am still stuck with version 5.5.4.36995.... which crashes repeatedly. Just wondering if it should normally take more than a few hours for the update to take effect? Thanks!

I'm not sure about the Beta Test version for new ones? I have been a Beta Tester so it was easy for me and some others to get the latest Beta and hopefully Webroot will say more tomorrow!
