Only the first 12 digits of my product key is loading on my Kindle Fire keeping me from activating

I was able to activate my security key on my smartphone.  I follow the same steps for my Kindle Fire and when I start typing the Key Code it wont let me enter anything beyond the first 12 digits.  This then keeps me from upgrading to the version I purchased.

Please see this post:
 If you could please try uninstalling/ re-installing the Webroot app and re-entering your keycode. When installing app be sure that you have correct version (free, Complete, or Premium.)
