"The email or password you entered is incorrect"

Hello, I have scoured the message boards for a solution to the log in fail I am getting. the message I recieve says "The email or password you entered is incorrect." Now I have read all the boards and the basic troubleshooting that you guys have posted and I am still getting the message. The phone does autofill the email address but I correct it. I believe the problem has something to do with I just bought another year and added an additional security key to my webroot page.

[h2]Answer[/h2][h3]Is the Device Online?[/h3] If Webroot cannot connect to the internet at all when entering your username and password, it may misinterpret the lack of connectivity as an indication that your username or password is incorrect.  Please open a browser and go to a new page to see if you have internet connectivity.  If not, please troubleshoot your device's internet connectivity issue first.  Webroot cannot reach out to our servers if your device cannot connect to the internet. SecureAnywhere Mobile Scan Freezes at SD Card

Running SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier on Droid 2.  Last few days, when I begin a scan, it does fine until it gets to the SD card - then it just ist there and does nothing - except drain the battery!  Just let it run overnight - same thing - it didn't move.   Would reinstall fix or is there a better solution?

How do I change or remove the finger-swipe code I have to enter to open my phone screen?

How do I change or remove the finger-swipe code (9-point map) I have to enter to open my phone screen each time? When I installed SecureAnywhere on my Moto X, it gave me the option of setting up a swipe pattern on a 9-point map, which I did. Now I want to change the pattern or just skip it altogether, but I can't find that option in settings.

Kindle fire setting device administrator

Good afternoon, I just installed Webroot on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9. As part of the set up I wanted to set up the password and set WR as a device administrator. The webroot set up keeps telling me the device administrator is in an unsafe status. When I click on the fix button it takes me back to set up screen and I end up going into the loop seeing the same thing. When I go to the kindles settings page it will not let me select Webroot as an administrator, it shows up under the administrator section but is not selected. Any idea how to fix this so I can lock down the system with a password? Thanks

Android phone: threat: Device Management com.mediatek.dm---unsuccessfull app removal. next step?

I need assistance. I've been running Webroot on my android phone for over a year and have never received a threat notification until today. Antivirus scan detects: Application Threat - Device Management - com.mediatek.dm. When I click on Webroot to remove this app, Webroot responds with: UNSUCCESSFULL.   Metro PCS is my mobil phone carrier. In the past couple weeks, MetroPCS updated their system app to include an update with  Data Maximizer. This app update is supposed to manage my music & video data transmission more efficiently to keep my 4G usage lower.   When I go into my phone's application menu and locate the app for  Device Management com.mediatek.dm, I have clicked on STOP; I'm not offered the choice to DISABLE. The Webroot scan continues to show the High Risk threat, when I run removal, it continues to respond:  Unsuccessfull. Webroot states that the threat is Trojan.    Perhaps, Webrrot is observing the MetroPCs performing Data Maximizer

WEBROOT ANYWHERE SECURE FOR KINDLE FIRE 10 9TH GENERATION

I'm sorry. I just purchased a Kindle Fire 9th Generation and trying to get the FREE Webroot SecureAnywhere App. The problem is that it isn't listed in the app section after a search - only the $15 one is listed although I see "2 results" after the search under Apps & Games but just the $15 appears.. I read as many articles about this in the community and would please like some easy to follow guidance for a dummy like me. Thanks,

Hi Guys    My wife has a galaxy S3, lately it just loses the pass word every 2 days and sometimes sooner.    It can be reset easily enough, but it's becoming a bind to have to repeatedly reset it.   any suggestions

Cannot activate droid download. When typing in code, phone adds letters which are not there.

I just read in PC magazine the threat of a virus called StageFright.  This virus will call your number and gain access to your files Just as a precaution I wanted to know if WebRoot is on top of it, and if so what to do.

[h2]Answer[/h2]Yes, however Amazon made a change in a recent update to the Kindle Fire HD, which prevents Device Administrator from being enabled for 3rd party applications. The Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile app requires Device Administrator to use Lost Device Protection.  Due to the limitations imposed by the device manufacturer, some normal app features, such as Wipe and password protection during uninstallation, may not function correctly.

Placing Webroot on my Android

I am on my computer and I noticed that I can also protect my Android. Do I dwnld the app onto my PC and set up the protection to the Android from my computer or do I turn on my Android, dwnld the app on this unit for the Webroot protection?
