Hello Webrooters,
Does rt clk Scan with Webroot have a maximum size limit?
When I run Scan with Webroot on a 152 MB file size. The saved scan log does not report [g]/[b]/[u]/[x] nor report SHA256/MD5.
The saved scan log only reports:
Scan Started: C:UsersjmsDesktopPlayOnSetup.4.3.27.exe| [ID: 2 - Flags: 256/36]
Scan Results: Files Scanned: 1, Duration: 1s, Malicious Files: 0

I'm wondering:
What does Webroot cloud do with my Scan with Webroot when Webroot appears to have no information for this item.
<< MD5: a3a7c5e0cd18c51688ca4b96d8f204ac
We have no further information on this file at the moment.>>

Is the file size too large for on-demand scan?
Will Webroot still monitor this item on-access?
Is there  size limit for on-demand scan?
Is there a size limit for monitor?
Is there a size limit for roll-back?

Thanks

Webroot Support (Jul 19, 2017 18:12) RE:Help answer Community TopicHello,
Thank you for the update and question.
Yes, there is a certain file size limit for Webroot. Webroot can scan any file that is less than 64MB. Webroot will not perform any monitoring of files greater than this size. The Webroot Threat Research team has found this to be an adequate size as malware is much smaller. If any files are created from a file that is larger than 64MB, Webroot will be able to scan those files.
