does my WSA AV license work for Mac As well?
Is it true that my current WSA AV license works on both PC and Mac? thus I don't have to buy another license if I were to purchase a Mac Book? That's awesome if it's true no other AV does this I assume the license cannot be used on the PC and Mac at the same time right? one at a time only?

Hi, I'm new here. I have a question that possibly has been answered before, but I haven't found it. I have the Webroot SecureAnywhere software on my computer and have been very happy with it. I'm running the Windows XP OS on this computer. . My Webroot subscription expires in April, about the time that XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. I have read all the recommendations that I should update to Windows 7 or 8. I have no desire to get 8. I have Windows 7 on a small laptop but several of my older software programs will not run on that OS and there are no updates available. Will Webroot be providing antivirus, antimalware protection for Windows XP in the future? Or will Webroot abandon it like Microsoft? Maybe I'm a "stick in the mud", wanting to keep XP :@ but it is so dependable, I won't dump it. As a last resort, I'll disable Internet on this computer. But I'd rather not do that unl

I tried looking on the web, but most instructions just say go to control panel and remove the files, but it is not there. I tried doing a search and deleted anything with sweetim, but it is deeper than that. Does anyone have a solution? thanks
Regular AV vs Gamer version?
Hey everyone, I was wondering what the differences are between the standard WSA AV and the "Antivirus for Gamers". The gamer version says its light and won't slow down gaming or cause lags and mentions the Identity Shield to protect online assests and game purchases, but the regular version is already fast and has the Identity Shield :robotvery-happy:. Is there any specific difference that would have any effect on i.e. performance or protection or features? Thanks, Shran :D

Will whitlisting a site WSA flags allow all malware on that site to run?
Hello and thanks for looking at my question.. Scenario one, a user visits a site and is alerted by your software that is a risky site. The user chooses to ignore the warning and contiunes to view the site. in this scenario has the user told WSE to trust anything coming from this site? I ask this because I want to visit a site that is flagged, which i find hard to believe, but I don't want to openmyself up to virus. If I don't download anything from the site and just read the text, am i still safe?

How Would Webroot Clean Ransomware?
This is just a hypothetical question that an IT guy posed to me at work when I told him I was using Webroot to protect my home PC. Can someone with a good knowledge of Webroot explain how it would clean up a piece of nasty ransomware that it didn't catch and let slip by? For argument's sake, assume that the ransomware has locked up the PC and the Webroot GUI cannot be accessed. My thinking is that Webroot will eventually identify the ransomware on its own (working in the background via the cloud while the PC is locked up) and clean up the infection automatically. Is that correct?

Webroot unable to find virus that is taking over my browser
I previously had Webroot and my computer ran fine. The subscription ended and I forgot to renew it, and not too long after, I ended up with a virus. There was a ton of unnecessary stuff on my computer anyway, so I ended up just wiping it and reinstalling everything from scratch. The first thing I did upon hooking the computer back up to the internet was purchase, download and activate Webroot. Unfortunately, it seems that just one day later, I've picked up a virus somewhere along the way, and webroot cannot find it. It seems to affect the internet browser specifically - three to four pop-ups on every single page I visit, and redirects the first time I click on every link. The redirect goes to 'trustism.net' and then to some other random page each time. I've done the full scan on the computer three or four times, it can't find anything, which is pretty frustrating, since I just paid for a new subscription less than 24 hours ago. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get rid of
reclassifying a website
My company's site: http://agnxnetworks.com/ has been incorrectly classified as unsafe and this is hurting us. I can assure you there is no malicious code. The ony different thing is I have cloudflare protection against spammers and CSS optimizations for faster loading. Please reclassify the site. Thanks.

Plus HD Malware Webroot will not remove
I have a problem with my PC regarding a Malware called Plus HD. I purchased Webroot to remove it as I could not remove it in the add/remove in Windows 8.1. One day later it is back and now webroot will not even detect it. Does anybody know whats going on? It seem like the developers at Plus HD are ahead of those at Webroot.

The only was I can access the internet is to untoggle the webshield setting, open my Firefoxfox browser then re-toggle on the webshield. I've run thorugh all of the options and can not figure out what I changed or how I can undo the change. Has anyone else run into this or can anyone offer some advice on how I can resolve it? Thanks -

HAVE A VIRUS THAT WEB ROOT FOUND & REMOVED ONCE, NOW ITS BACK & WEB ROOT DOSN'T RECOGNIZE THREAT
I upgraded the free version of web root yesterday, I spent over an hr on the phone with a web root tech. He remotely scanned my laptop, found & removed several threats. 2 hrs later the main virus is back, " Music & talking in the backround of my PC" Now when I perform a scan, web root dose not see any threats. I again spent over 2 hrs online with a web root tech, they instructed me to perform certain down loads to assist them in gathering info, which I did, they told me to message them when logs were ready, which I did. 2 hrs later, no replie from web root. since I upgraded my webroot soft ware, my PC runs for about an hr, the whole time with this music & talking in the backround, its doing it as I am typing right now. Then my PC will freeze up for several minutes at a time. this happens every 10 mins or so. What should I do now?
OSX.Defma Webroot virus
Webroot SecureAnywhere has begun identifying thousands of OSX.Defma virus on my backup drive this week and reclassifying files with a .DS_Store suffix. Comapny has not responded to support request and has not posted anything to acknowledge this on their own. Searching online for support has shown that many Mac users getting hit with the same sudden onset. Also found an independent test that reported Webroot as one of the worst identifiers in the marketplace. How credible can a protection company be if they don't quickly preempt or address issues?
