I built a computer less than 2 months ago 8 cores, 16 gig of ram etc. and that's when I first installed webroot anywhere. Worked great until about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, the web pages that I usually go to now load extremely slow. I would then shut down webroot and go to those sames pages and it would load normal. I try it again the next day same issues. Slow. How do I remedy this situation? I appreciate any help in advance

I had to disable the Webroot Filter extension because it was causing Mozilla FireFox to hang up and freeze. After I disabled it, FireFox is working fine, now. When I enabled the extension, FireFox would freeze up and I had to shut it down using the Task manager. Then, when I would launch FireFox again, I would get an error message that it was still running and that I needed to restart the PC. It became quite annoying. Can anyone tell me what this extension does? Was it safe to disable it? By disabling it, did I compromise any security to WSA?
I just used backup for the first time and the folders in Outlook were moved from Outlook to Webroot. I tried to open them in Webroot, but the message is I have to be within Outlook to open these folders. I split the screen and tried to drag the folders into Outlook, but the message says these folders are too large to copy. How do I restore these folders? All other files backed up fine and they do open. Thanks, Bruce

We've had issues with steam and Webroot in the past but this is getting a bit silly as it's now blocking the .exe file from even being downloaded from steampowered.com in the first place. This file is something used by millions of gamers a day and when I try to run it after downloading it shows the follow flag: "pua.fake.steam"
Last year I bought a webroot disc and I just used the code on the box to enroll my subscription. I have 30 days left. Can I just buy another disc and do the same thing? I want to pay cash for another year of protection.
I understand that AdChoices is not considered a virus, but is considered malware, and an escalating dangerous one once on your computer, that it changes registry, etc. It pops up as various ads in IE and as i navigate to different sites, as a small square video ad that runs various advertisements. It will even continue to play after the browser is closed! I've run webroot scans and AdChoices is never detected. Help!? Thank you !!! :)
