My PC does a daily scan and finds nothing. The screen shows a window "Scanning for Malware" and Scanning for rootkits.... It never gets past 0% Files scanned 0 Process not scanned Threats detected 0 Time elapsed 13h 20m This suggests to me that no scan is taking place. It is always the same problem. My PC is slowing down to the point where I will have to purchase a replacement. In the past I could take the PC to a service shipand theu would clear the MALWARE. I do not have that option now. Is there an ON button somewhere that I need to use? Any help greatfully appreciated.

Last year I bought a webroot disc and I just used the code on the box to enroll my subscription. I have 30 days left. Can I just buy another disc and do the same thing? I want to pay cash for another year of protection.
I have a popup again on IE that forces us to contact a number to get rid of, "Suspicious Activity." I had to use Malewarebytes to kill it last time, because Webroot couldn't see it. It appears that this popup comes from www.computerhelpdesk.pk./ib4...AND IT IS GONE! I swear I was just swiping to and from the IE Charm to type this up, and it finally dissappeared! It was there for hours, I swear! I did take a screenshot of it already though. If anybody wants a copy of the screenshot, shoot me an email at (snip. for secuirty- privacy reasons)--I want to know what this is.
