Anyone losing their proxy setting in WRSA when entered manual? We installed Webroot without proxy settings and changed them as some computers are in a Healthcare network and require proxy….But somewhere in a version upgrade of Webroot something changed. We are now losing the manual entered proxy settings (maybe due to policy?)But we cannot find any setting to force it either trough a policy or registry? We install most of our agents with RMM Kaseya so we do need this to work properly…Any suggestions? We allready have a support ticket in place but this is an urgent problem so we could use more help.
I just bought a new license and all my PC’s show as Disabled in my console (but also shows 2 protected) and none of the scan commands work. I only have 1 PC with webroot installed so far and I can’t add my PC’s to the console, when I hit Add it has me re-download the AV, then it just open’s the new AV I just installed tonight and does nothing further. How can this be fixed?
Every since the last time I installed Webroot I have to manually allow it to run every time I turn on the computer. After I allow it after a short time its Icon shows up in the bar at the bottom of the page so I assume it is working. Extensions are turned on but I have never seen one when searching with Chrome or Microsoft new Edge. I got a short notification that all my protection was turned off and go to Security on the control panel. I manually went to the Control Panel SECURITY section and pressed the down arrow. It just says pretty much everything is OK and nothing was found in the last scan. However, I noticed that WEBROOT is not listed at all, nor is any other antivirus (like Defender). Should there not be a listing of active antivirus programs?
Hi all,We have a monitoring tool that centrally monitors processes on Windows servers.Since the 23-08-2022 update of the Webroot Agent (v188.8.131.52) remote monitoring of processes on all our servers (2012R2, 2016 and 2019) fails.Disabling specific features of the Webroot agent or disabling it all together does not solve the issue.Only a full uninstall of Webroot solves the issue.Reinstalling a previous version will work fine, with auto-update disabled. However, as soon as auto-update is enabled and the Webroot agent receives the latest update, the issue is back.We already opened a ticket with Webroot support.Maybe someone else experienced the same issue and found a solution?

After last Win 10 update to 21H2, I noticed a tiny widget?… ( 1/8” translucent spinning circle, 1/2” from left border, & 2 58” from screen bottom). Check your own desktop Closely , before you answer this!I only use Google Chrome, and haven’t visited any new websites. I did a negative Full scan. In the old Win7 days, CCleaner would remove Widgets..., but caused system problems…!Also in the Win7 days, I had An AV that put a Large spinning Widget on the desktop. I thought this may be a new WSA feature, or how do I get rid of This?BTW- I tried doing a Snip, but it didn’t show?
Has the system which, as it was and usually is, been changed in favour of the Green W (top right corner icon) followed by or as visible by an assurance green tick and the legend that it is safe to proceed. My normal Green ticks against items shown as drop down options via my Browser (Chrome) have been down for 4 days now ,as opposed to what usually happens is just a few hours commonly over a weekend.
