We, Zoho WorkDrive are a Cloud based Content Collaboration Software provided by Zoho Corporation; check this link - https://www.zoho.com/workdrive/ for more details. Our product has a feature which allows files/folders uploaded to WorkDrive and can be shared to everyone on the internet by generating an external link for the file. These links are hosted in a domain https://workdrive.zohopublic.eu owned by ZohoCorporation. and is used for file preview. The domain "workdrive.zohopublic.eu" is now listed in Webroot as malicious - https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/578f2c41f827d53ecec3fae43352ac8bce0faf12d89f36e79a683f42b5064de1 . Some of our customers complained about accessing public WorkDrive files. We noticed the blacklist, since the domain is used by a large number of customers a blanket ban is hurting our customers. Here are the steps we perform to ensure that malware content does not get hosted from Zoho WorkDrive 1. We have an Anti Virus scan in place which validates the files
My Webroot has been unobtrusive until recently. Now, every morning, I get a pop-up telling me I need a Carbonite account. My attempts to comply have been frustrated (and frustrating). When I try to log in, it doesn’t like my credentials. It says it will send me a code but never does. Why is this happening and what can I do to get rid of it?
This is insane. I got an email with automatic payment for renewal processed, keycode, and instructions.I tried logging in via the email My Account link. I also tried the My Account link in Webroot itself. They don’t work. Tells me incorrect password. Nonsense. I tried “forgot password.” It says look in your email. Nothing is sent, not even to spam folder. I’m absolutely sure of my credentials. They’re saved offline. I can’t reach anyone through the now ubiquitous, stupid, irrelevant thousand options computerized front end answering service. This is my second attempt to post in the community. The posts don’t get processed. I am on Chrome and I turned off all my browser extensions. As you must know, when a post doesn’t process and you try again for whatever reason the page gets wiped out.
I was a huge fan of Warzone and played it non stop until Vanguard came out but the new version of warzone was having major issues but Vanguard itself was fine. The biggest issue was the input lag. Took me longer than I want to admit that it turn out to be Webroot becasue it was fine once I unloaded the software. I have to admit I just disable it temporary when playing. Anyone experianced the same before I work out what I need to exclude?
What is the Carbonite my account portal as opposed to the older my.webrootanywhere client portal? I got the sign up for My Account and tried to login using my already existing my.webroot account and failed. Then logged in to my.webrootanywhere just fine and got a portal. Do we need 2 account portals, one community portal and also our license and password info for one program? What’s going on? Will the old portal die? What’s the difference. What are we supposed to do if we already have an account portal under opentext instead of carbonite?
I keep getting the screen saying “account activation needed” I signin and that works, it asks for my security code and then it logs me out and logs me back in. I am stuck in a loop and cannot scan my computer for virused. Please help. I sent a ticket to customer support and got a generic reply with no real answers. Does anyone know what to do?

After last Win 10 update to 21H2, I noticed a tiny widget?… ( 1/8” translucent spinning circle, 1/2” from left border, & 2 58” from screen bottom). Check your own desktop Closely , before you answer this!I only use Google Chrome, and haven’t visited any new websites. I did a negative Full scan. In the old Win7 days, CCleaner would remove Widgets..., but caused system problems…!Also in the Win7 days, I had An AV that put a Large spinning Widget on the desktop. I thought this may be a new WSA feature, or how do I get rid of This?BTW- I tried doing a Snip, but it didn’t show?
As of last windows update Webroot is not letting the game Lost Ark start. Plz find a sollution. Atm keeping webroot uninstalled but not the end I want.White listed the easy client - issue prevails.Update: I poked around and whitelisted most files. Finally got a combo that got the game working.
Hello,Out of curiosity I downloaded various Eicar files from here:https://ipinfo.info/html/testvirus.phpI was able to save most of them in a folder, without any reaction from Webroot. If I scan the folder , the are detected as “malicious” , but no reaction when I downloaded them.I have “Scan archived files” and “ Check files for threats when written or modified” selected.Theoretically , these Eicar versions should have been scanned upon download.
So what’s the time frame for a permanent fix for the issues between Webroot and Easy Anti-Cheat?I created a support ticket a while back to get this fixed, but after learning you need remote access to my PC in order to fix it, I decided not to continue. I managed to fix it myself by uninstalling Webroot, let the game (Black Desert Online) open up it’s menu and then install Webroot. It’s been working fine until now, where they sent out a patch./Mikael
Today Firefox updated to 97.0 on my windows 10 machine. When I restarted my computer, nothing works in firefox anymore. I can load it once, but I can’t browse to any webpage or even pull up the settings or about Firefox menu. When I close it I cannot open Firefox again.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. I eventually tried installing the 32-bit version and it worked. I reinstalled the 64-bit version and found that if I close out of Webroot completely it would work normally. It only works if I shut down webroot completely. If I turn off individual shields (or all the shields) it won’t work, but exiting webroot causes firefox to instantly start working again.Webroot gives no indication that it is blocking anything. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can fix it?
Win10 Pro x64, v 21H1 (going to 21H2 soon...)I have a 5ghz CPU/ 16gig Ram/ 500gig 6x optical SSD C: drive (with only 40gig used)/ 100mbps cable internet-This is a Very Fast Desktop, and no reason for Trusting Programs... to be sooo slow (with buggy ESET NOD32 AV), and went to Webroot SA AV, which is a little slower (Computer is no faster after a reboot).Every time I do a Windows Update (Install a new AV...), I have a list of 12 common... Programs/Utilities that I Fully open/close Twice to get them Trusted (Is there a better way??).I also slowly... open/close my Google Chrome browser 4-times, before it is fast.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~With all other AV’s I’ve had- I install them from a desktop folder download/reboot, before the hidden taskbar icon… is useable, then Trust Edge/ Chrome to get Extensions installed/Trusted….I did the same with my last Webroot install, but getting programs like Word/Foxit Reader… Trusted takes twice as long as before!?~~Should I have have installed diff

Webroot finds this infection. I tell it to remove the threat, and it finds it again. It makes NO forward progress in actually removing this virus. Support appears to be closed, and I’m not yet finding this in the community forum.OldCoder
Web page won't actually let me log into Open a Support Ticket. It asks for permission to create cookies, I giver permission, I paste in my password, and it goes back to the damned cookie window.OldCoderEdit: Removed personal email address. ~ PTD ~
Hi,I need to exclude a directory under the user’s home directory on a drive containing all user home directories. The folder in question is a cache folder for an application, and the Real Time scanning slows it down terribly. For example: 'thisfolder’c:\home_folders\joe\thisfolderc:\home_folders\bill\thisfolderc:\home_folders\steve\thisfolder So I'm looking for a pattern maybe like: c:\home_folders\*\thisfolder How can I accomplish this
Recently installed Webroot on new Windows 11 desktop, and also old Windows 7 desktop. Now I cannot scan from either PC. Printer works. I submitted a customer service inquiry and am awaiting a reply. My computer skills are not advance, so need help in simple language. I did check utility controls and everything is allowed. Will have to look for different anti-virus software if this isn’t soon fixed.
^ Title says it all.I have been using NBMiner for a little bit now.And its worked fine. However, around the same time I had a remote session to fix Battlefield 2042’s issues (Which by the way didn’t work, *Read below for that*) Webroot seemed to just ignore NBMiner’s whitelist and just close it anyway.I’ve whitelisted NBMiner.exe, CMD.exe, Eth.bat, etc. etc.Despite this, NBMiner still gets shutdown repeatedly, this is the same for TRex Miner as well.Is there any way to just say to the AV: “NO, NBMiner GOOD! NO DELETE PLS!”Because I can’t find a way… =Below this is about battlefield 2042=(*Read below from before*)Battlefield didn’t launch after the fix session, so after that I reinstalled it and it still didn’t work. I was told to call back, but the offices are now closed for the holidays. (I’m probably just going to wait on a new Webroot patch or EAC patch. (It would be nice to get some info on when that comes out))
