I’ve had a horrible night. I hardly ever log in to my account online. I need to delete a device from my subscription. I thought I created an online account but the log in wouldn’t work. I submitted a request via email to reset my password. No email came. I created a new online account by clicking the link in the Webroot Secure Anywhere app. I went through all the steps to create a two factor authentication. Now, as soon as I log in, I am automatically logged out. It does it in both Edge and Chrome browsers. Customer Technical Support is closed. I have been working on this for two hours. I am going to bed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
After uninstalling WSA, the core and sky services persist, causing problems with other software. Because they are placed as system files, they resist normal and reasonable means to remove them. They also resist removal by people with some technical skill. And other AV programs. And Webroot’s own cleanup executables. I would think that software that cannot be uninstalled by the computer owner with reasonable effort would qualify as malicious. Of course, sending in a support ticket has gotten zero response. I approach an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone.
My invoice receipt number is 01889 in the amount of $399.98 for UNLIMITED LIFETIME WEBROOT PROTECTION. Now I'm getting notices that my protection is expiring in 27 days. I haven't died (yet). What is going on? I can't seem to reach anyone at the customer support phone number or even get a reply. Please help.

Webroot is the best software that money can buy. The software is so reliable. No other software out there can do what webroot does. It protects you where ever you go, hence secure anywhere. I am very confident to tell anyone and everyone to buy this software they would not be disappointed. With that being said KUDOS to the programmer(s) and the thought process that went into developing this software product. Thank you again. Julie :D

Hi - In the last week or so we have noticed that Webroot has started downloading files we have in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business to scan them. These files are actually cloud-only files that appear in the File Explorer but actually aren’t on the machine, When a user opens the file it is seamlessly downloaded to the machine. See https://support.office.com/en-us/article/save-disk-space-with-onedrive-files-on-demand-for-windows-10-0e6860d3-d9f3-4971-b321-7092438fb38e Webroot is causing random files to be ‘hydrated’ as if the user had opened the file, this is consuming bandwidth and local storage on devices. Windows has the option to block the app from doing this called Automatic Files Downloaded, see https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/101977-allow-block-automatic-file-downloads-apps-windows-10-a.html I can block Webroot on my machine and it works, but I would prefer if Webroot would detect files are online-online and not download/hydrate the files to scan them, it should

On a lark, I decided to try Webroot. And within 15 minutes have uninstalled it. When I could not excluding folders from scanning, I went to the Community Forum and was shocked by the lack of functionality, but more so: the reasoning that was provided. I have many, many files and folders that trigger various security warnings. It is an incredibly irritating and time-consuming endeavor having to pull from quarantine files that have been erroneously tagged as threats. It is such poor product development to offer the option in the business edition but in no other. Is the logic that this alone will warrant upselling? If so then this is perhaps the stupidest reasoning ever since excluding folders is found in virtually all antivirus applications.
Chrome is being used and the extension for Webroot is on. The only indicator I have is when I click a site to open them the W in the corner turns to a check mark. When clicking on it then it says the site is safe. Do you know if this is a new change? thank you
Hi,I am trying to install Webroot SecureAnywhere through Microsoft Endpoint manager so that when the computer syncs up to Intune and pulls the deployment profile and the apps to install this is automatically installed as well. What am I missing? Pictures attached for reference. I place the license key where GUILIC=0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000. I also make sure the correct group has the devices in it and are in the required group for assignments. Any help?
