not able to confirm my email for some reason  and I have already paid for this

Exactly where is that you are trying to confirm you email?  Is it when trying to set up or get into the web console (here)?
 
A little more detail to your issue would be useful to enable us to asist you re. this.

I have been trying to reset my password for an hour. It keeps telling me it is sending an email but it is not. I received other emails about automatically activating, but not for the password reset.
 
I tried to call but waited 7 minutes and nobody answered. Frustrating.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
 
Given what you are reporting and that it is the weekend I would not try phoning Support as the phone lies are only 'ersoned' Monday - Friday. Your best bet here is to Open a Support Ticket and advise the Support Desk of the position that way. The ticketing system is responded to 24/7 and so hopefully you should get a reply shortly.
