I've noticed that my windows firewall and other security tabs are on. Are they bumping into the Webroot security and should I turn them off
Thanks, Marie
Hello ?
Welcome to the Webroot Community,
Essentially, the Windows Firewall for Win7 & Win 8 & 10 is very robust especially in terms of handling the Inbound so WSA cedes/allows it to handle the inbound security whilst it covers the outbound transactions. The WSA firewall effectively replaces the Windows Firewall outbound. So in essence you need both.
Please see this Knowledge Base Article for more information. And this previous thread on the subject is worth reading for more insight. And here is the PC User Guide.
Hope that clarifies for you?
Kind Regards,
