I just ran a critical point scan with free version of Superantispyware. Never had a positive results until now and I think it's a false positive related to the new web filtering extension of Webroot. Wonder if anyone could try to duplicate this. I reported to SAS as false positive. I also gave the Vendor link to JoeJ the VP of Development and he said he will fill it out so they should get the message in the end!

Cheers,

Daniel 😉

Yes I had the same and reported it to them 4 times but they never even replied so they are FP's.

Here's how to send to them: http://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=28 also I passed this link to someone that will look after this issue:http://www.superantispyware.com/vendordispute.html also I sent them via their support channel!

I submitted the false positives through the scanner GUI, hopefully with the multiple links and avenues they will take notice. Nice job!

They seem to have fixed the false positives today.

Great to hear I haven't used SAS in the last couple of weeks as all it finds is yummy cookies but I will have to give it a run just to check!

Thanks,
