Several months ago my desktop was hit by a ransom screen. I tried (unsuccessfully) to X out of it, then quickly shut down the computer for a few minutes and rebooted. I immediately ran a scan, but no problems were shown.

Now a huge chunk of files -- my most valuable ones! - are missing. What can I do?

Hi guys,

First post here, and it's for the same reason. I've had 2 of my clients' servers infected with ransomware over the past month, both running WR SA Endpoint protection.

For one of them it was the second time in 6 months.

Is webroot SA Endpoint designed to pick up ransomware?

Cheers,

Justin
