Webroot kills lantern even when allowed

Lanter is a free open-sources VPN/Proxy like service that is extremely useful in countries with censorship. Webroot originally detects this software as a trojan. It seems this classification is wrong. However, even when the application has been allowed by lantern and the processed deemed safe, lantern still is blocked/killed periodically. I would like to ask the experts to look into the behavior of lantern with webroot and advice how to provide a seamless experience.
