When IE11 is opened on a Win 10, and possibly earlier OS versions) without Webroot started a gray icon appears to browser searches in both Google and Yahoo. Does anyone know causes those or even what they are called? The same icons appear when IE11 is opened with Sandboxie and may be causing many of my native IE11 web pages.
Frequently, no webshield icons appear for non-add webpages. Especially on page 1 of the search results. I am often able to restore the icons by changing pages back and forth and using the Search icon. Often, when another page is selected, the icons show up on the page I'm exiting JUST before the switch to the next page.
I'm guessing the settings causeing the "grey" icons may be interfering with the Webshield icons.
Or, am I the only one in the world with this issue? Again.... 😃
