I get repeated notifications on my HP Elitebook 850 G3 notebook to install the Chrome extension to "Install the Password Manager extension in in the Google Chrome Browser." The source of the message is listed as "DigitalPersonna.null.

I cannot tell if this message is a legitimate suggestion from HP or a phishing ploy.

Clicking on the notification took me to an insecure site, 127.0.0.1:9001/pmstatus, so it looks suspicious to me.

I searched the HP support website for DigitalPersonna.null, but nothing came up.

Hello @MLAlbert ,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I am not sure about DigitalPersonna.null. I did find some HP info Here.

But I do not believe it has anything to do with Password Manager.

Please go here to install LastPass which is now Webroot's Password Manager.

I woud aslo advise if you have any questions or concerns please Contact Webroot Support

This is a free service with a Webroot subscription.

Hope this helps?
