Hey there

I had Webroot expired for a while- I could not find how to enter new serial key, even while I had new serial. So today, I finally entered new key. It said, "Webroot activated", then it flashed something about re-scanning computer and disapeared. Before I entered Key, it was saying that computer was infected- what ever- I usually do not panic over those notifications. So after activation. I do not see the Web Root icone. If I click "Castumize" (right lower corner, Windows 7), the icone is on a list with "WRSA.exe infected" but I can not make it visible, there is no Webroot SecureAnywhere program in Programs, nothing returns on Search and nothing under Add/Remove programs. It must be that virus/malware blocking it somehow. How do I get it back? I dont see "Download" link on my account. Thank you.

Hi Astralv

If you are a registered user you should be able to go to the following web page:

https://my.webrootanywhere.com/default.asp

and if you alrewady have an account  then sign in.  On ce you are on the home page you should see your userid in the top righthand corner of the page with a downward arrow to the right of that.  If you click on the arrow you should see a dropdown that has Downloads.  If you click on that you should be taken to a web page that has the WSA downlaod link.

If you do not have an account you should be able to create one from the sign in page above.

HTH?

Thank you for your reply. Are you saying that program disapearing is normal behavior? As I wrote in my other thread- this version was Best Buy boxed version, originally I had Webroot subscription. I thought it is the same thing. I found a link to download for Best Buy http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/geeksquad-dl Does it look the same? Ok, now I found the download link under my account (wow- could they hide it better?) So- just reinstall? Obviously- I can not uninstall as it is no more on the Add/Remove programs list, which is weird. Thank you.
