WRSA was somehow turned off.   When I left ckick the shortcut nothing seems to happen.  When I left click the shortcut I get the option to scan with webroot.  When I do that it only scans one file then stops.  Can someone have hacked my webroot?  Thanks for any help I can get.

Hello @,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I am sorry that this took so long to answer. You must of slipped through the cracks.

is this a PC Windows or a Mac? I don't think you have been hacked. So can you do a uninstall/clean install of Webroot?

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely! This is for a PC not a Mac

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,
