why is it necessary to pay more money for help, when you supposedly have a secure system in place. Was anyone pressured to upgrade system before any help would be provided, purchased in Aug. Was assisted in installation by iyogi which they now claim is not associated with them; did not pull iyogi out of my hat. several files were deleted from the start, now no one wants to be accountable. would not recommend Webroot.
How to spot a hacker in Counter-Strike
Hacking is rife in CS:GO and even pro players are being banned, so how do we stop it? 25 November 2014 By Chris Higgins Over the weekend, Valve had a little autumnal clearout of their suspected Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cheater list. In among the script kiddies and third accounts being handed Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) bans were some familiar names to those who follow pro CS:GO. None other than Titan’s Hovik “KQLY” Tovmassian and Epsilon’s Gordon “SF” Giry were banned, just hours before their teams were set to fly out to DreamHack Winter in Sweden, forcing both the tournament to drop the teams and the teams to drop the players. The fallout has been messy, and much like last month’s Dota match-fixing revelations, the effects echo
Steam users are being hit by password stealing malware
There is a password stealing malware being delivered through Google Drive accounts that steals Steam credentials. It is being spread through Steam's chat functionality. It's a shortened link that when clicked, sends you to an image file stored on Google Drive. It is in fact a .exe file and will steal your credentials when executed. My thoughts after a night with the Oculus Rift DK2
Yesterday my Oculus Rift DK2 showed up. I was pretty excited. I'd even had a dream the night before, about setting it up and playing with it. Now the reality was in front of me. I opened up the box and put everything together. If you thought your computer didn't have enough cables, then the Rift has the solution for you. I managed to clear out a couple USB ports and plugged the HDMI in. They were nice enough to include a DVI adapter, which I ended up using. There is a powered passthrough for USB to the headset, which is also a nice touch. First time I tried to turn on the demo scene, my computer hard froze. Ended up having to hard boot the computer: Bad omen, right? Fortunately after rebooting everything seemed to work. I turned on the demo scene and found myself sitting at a desk. The sense of being in the scene was immediate and visceral. There's no sense of 3D

Realtime shield causing game program to run sluggishly
After installing Webroot, a football game program began to run sluggishly. After some trial and error, I discovered that when I turned the Realtime shield off, the game program ran perfectly. So, I instructed Secure Anywhere to 'allow' the program to run, but this did not fix the problem. Does anyone have advice on how to fix this problem?
