I don't know. We will ask and maybe someone can say from Webroot? @LLiddell @Grayson

From my understanding it varies. Grayson is certainly the expert but from what I recall, there are some we submit to, and some that elect to test WSA on their own volition.

I think it generally more pertains to their testing methods than being an intentional attack against Webroot.

It is really clear

Webroot target market is Home & SMEs and it devouring home antivirus market.

According to (link) webroot ended its fiscal years 2017 & 2018.

While technological protection test of av_test hasn't been confirmed by webroot , this website ranked it.

They attempt to prevent home and MSPs to select webroot as their choice. & Prevent Grow Webroot Company.

same time , av-test give top product award to Windows Defender !! why ?

it is easy . They attempt to prevent home and MSPs to select webroot as their choice, then Home users most use Windows Defender & other choose other Antivirus.

You really should contact them. I wasn't happy to see webroot is the "worse" solution for protecting my computers... I guess someone looking for an av won't choose webroot because of these tests.

Also their tests show webroot raises more false positives than the average industry. Given the examples, this should be easy to solve?

maybe few users effective . but these test not important.

at 2012/2013 year , symantec leave av-comparatives.

but av-comparatives use norton on 2 tests and give very bad result for symantec .
