cpu is underpowered and affecting performance
My computer is running very slow lately. I just did a scan and it says that my" cpu is underpowered and affecting performance". What do I need to do to fix it? I have done a scan disk, defragment, re-start,virus scan, etc, etc, etc???

Well it can be a number of factors in my opinion. Do you have an older Computer? Do you need a Power Supply can cause some problems with perfomance and do you have updated Drivers and Bios update? All these things can contribute to poor performance!
Anybody else on the Forum have a reply to this as well?

You must have WSA - Complete and System Analyzer is just a tool and in most cases like this there is nothing you can do and really nothing to be done unless you buy a new PC/ Laptop so I wouldn't worry about it IMHO.

I have a brand new Lenovo ideapad 100S, I didn't even purchase it two weeks ago. Doing a webroot scan (webroot was provided by BestBuy for free!) an exclamation was found in the System Analyzer stating, "The CPU is underpowered and impacting performance." -- what does this mean and how is it possible? The OS is Windows 10. The system is running fine (with exception to some very small frame rate issues) ... never-the-less... should I request another computer, will this effect performance later on?

This is something that comes up from time to time and to be very honest, given your circumstances, I would not worry at all about what is being reported as it is patently not correct.
The System Analyzer is basically a baseline tool that does some relatively crude checks...when compared with some of the specialist apps that are out there re. system performance bench marking.
So as I said I would disregard the warning, especially as you say "The system is running fine (with exception to some very small frame rate issues)". If you are interested in some recpommendation on performance bench marking apps then please PM (private message) me and I would be happy to share my thoughts on that/provide some suggestions, etc.

? i wouldn't worry that much about the WSA's analysis results stating you have outdated components. My machine 's 10 years old and everything in it is outdated :$ but thanks to WSA i still have a good system.
On the other side if your machine is going slow it can be many things. Hardware on a self-terminating direction or software.
Would take too long to explain anything. I'm sure ? will send you some good tool references to start from. Next i'd suggest some HW tests ( one usually can find some tools issued by the creators of the components in your machine ). If those pop up any things and your bios & firmware ( as said by others here ) are up to date then you might want to go early Xmas shopping for new hardware.. Shortly follow Baldrick's advise and from then we can continue if you still require help

I've set up a few machines at home to test how low performance i can go before windows 7 & 10 start acting up so if you machine's under 4 years old believe me you won't get any negative performance from WSA. It nearly needs nothing to perform and perform superbly
