Downloading the Backup & Sync Component

To begin using Backup & Sync, you must download its component to your computer.

To download the component:
  1. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, see Creating a Webroot account This is where you will access your files stored in the cloud.  
  2. Open SecureAnywhere (see Using the SecureAnywhere interface).  
  3. Click Backup & Sync, which displays a plus sign next to it, then click the Log in button. If prompted, enter your Webroot account credentials (user name and password). [img]https://uploads-us-west-2.insided.com/webroot-en/attachment/6519iF87505A5F418347C.png[/img]  
  4. When the setup completes, click the Start using Backup & Sync button. The Backup & Sync panel looks like the following example. For more information, see Synchronizing files. Backups is also turned on by default. To configure backups, see Backing up files.

<p>Hello it is me again, mikel_rut</p><p> </p><p>I realized a while ago that I first registered with my hotmail account (not with my yahoo account). That was why I could not access to the backup and sync feature.</p><p> </p><p>Now with my hotmail account I finally had access to backup and sync.</p><p> </p><p>It asked me for my first and fifth numbers in mu security number.</p>
