Finding out which updates need to be installed

My scans always note a green alert that “new updates available need to be installed.:  But it never tells me which ones and when I check the program versions, they all seem to be current.

How can I find out what updates the scan is referring to?  I have Windows 7, but I can’t update that as no longer supported. Thanks.

Maybe and this is just a guess, but maybe it's not a update for programs, but for windows 7 update.Try going to windows update and see if there is a update for it.

Hello @jkrice

Are you talking about System Analyzer that’s included in the Complete version of Webroot? https://docs.webroot.com/us/en/home/wsa_pc_userguide/wsa_pc_userguide.htm#UsingSystemControl/RunningSystemAnalyzer.htm%3FTocPath%3DUsing%2520System%2520Control%7C_____1

If so don’t put to much faith in it as most don’t use it because most items can’t be fixed. See here for more info: https://community.webroot.com/search?q=System%20Analyzer

Also as you said Windows 7 is not supported anymore!

Thanks,

Like I stated I was just taking a shot In the dark.Just trying to be helpful.

Thanks to both.  Yes, referring to the report of the System Analyzer which I agree is not very useful.  Since that conclusion was reached years ago, why don’t the gurus at Web Root make it more user friendly and helpful for the consumer?

Well we can't give up just because we asked a few times over the years. They need to take Us serious 🤔

I understand, but someone in support should be able to answer. Besides Webroot is now more advanced than they were 8 years ago.

It has nothing to do with support but the Development Teams. Also I have been here since the beginning so I know what has gone on since Webroot SecureAnywhere came to be in late 2011!
