Hello all. I'm a newbie here. I've been using Norton for the last 10 years (Internet Security and Comcast Norton Security Suite which is really Norton 360).

I switched to Webroot Complete and so far all seems to be going quite well. Does anyone know if there is a comparison between Norton and Webroot  (current versions) to see how they rate protection wise against each other?  It's hard to find test results for Webroot but what I've found on it for the latest version looks good. I'm just looking for some piece of mind that I'm as well protected with Webroot as I was with Norton.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Sherry thank you for your informative and quick reply. It's good to hear that you too have used both products and are now using Webroot with no issues.

Hello bigfoot2348,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I would like to say there is not any AV that compares to Webroot. I can tell you about Webroot though and give you information how IMO Norton cannot even come close to Webroot. Webroot protects you like no other. It's all down in the Cloud.

I do not have a comparison of Webroot vs Norton...I also was a long time user of Norton and then I found Webroot and have never ever looked back. I've had Webroot for 3 years on 5 of my computers without any issues.

Please have a look at this post by TripleHelix explaining how Webroot protects, (message 4)
