Can identity shield be turned on to protect Edge browser in Windows 10 manually in "Application Protection"?
If yes .. what is the path/location of edge browser executable?

? Yes as you said maybe Identity shield is not working as Edge is not your ususal desktop app.. it is more of windows modern app and located in systemapps folder. Also as far as I havelearned Edge uses a new browser engine?

Identity shield is not exactly a browser extension.. it’s a WR feature which can be set to protect any executable by encrypting keystrokes. So is the lack of extensions in Edge the real limiting factor here?

We will have to wait to hear from the Webroot Staff on this and I'm sure they are working on it! ? ? ?

Yep it is being worked on - I'll let you know when I have more info. For now ID Shield won't work on Edge, same as the extensions. I'd say stick with the mature browsers!
