Why is Webroot not listed in Programs and Features even though it runs on the compter? Windows 10 by the way.
I'm running windows 10. Webroot Secure Anywhere will run on the computer, but when I look for it in the programs list (Programs and Features in the Control Panel) I can't find it listed. Why?
Webroot affecting AutoCAD 2018 performance severely
We have webroot business, managed inside the portal. A user is running AutoCAD 2018 software and I've followed AutoCAD's recommendation on AV exclusions and configured those under "Override". However, there is no option to exclude specific file extensions within Webroot business, such as excluding *.dwg or *.dwf files from being scanned when they get launched via AutoCAD. This is a major flaw... how is a product in the magic quadrant not having a classic AV software feature?! The whole system basically bogs down with CPU seriously spiking due to Webroot getting and scanning at the file. The problem is obviously Webroot because once I unload Weboort, AutoCAD runs at a swift pace. If anyone has any suggestions, please advise. thanks.

iTunes store and Webroot
Is anyone having trouble connecting to the itunes store for the past week? It seems like I can connect, but very, very slowly. Like 5 minutes to load. And then if you click on anything, you wait another 5 minutes. Impossible to look at anything. I can log out and back in, but that takes an eternity too. If I click on Check available downloads, it starts downloading some songs, (but I think I already have them.) so there is some slow connectivity. I have been through all the troubleshooting tips but nothing things to work. They say to add iTunes to the firewall, but it is impossible to do that now. iTunes gets installed by the Microsoft store now and it is placed in a protected folder that I am not allowed access to, even if I say give it to me. And it won't let it even add it to the firewall because I don't have access. Denied. Denied. Denied. I see that the iTunes app is listed in listed in Webroot in the active connections in that protected location. But it is not listed as far as

Lastpass not accepting Webroot credentials
I never set up password management in WebRoot but noticed an email saying that tomorrow was the last day to 'upgrade' to LastPass. Thinking this is something I *should* do, I logged into my WebRoot account, clicked on 'Manage Passwords' but the LastPass site rejects the email/password combination I entered -- "Invalid email or password!" -- even though it is exactly the same as just entered to access WebRoot and follows LastPass instructions: "Please log in using your Webroot username and password." I searched this forum and apparently this is an long term, ongoing problem. I see Moderators making suggestions and people responding with variations on 'Nope. Doesn't work." Still haven't found a clear answer. There is clearly a disconnect between WebRoot and LastPass. This does not inspire confidence. If YOU have gotten this to work, please advise how you did so. Thanks in advance!
Yellow alert for an active account?
My webroot PC protection (W10 64) turned on the yellow alert. It says there's a problem in the 'my account' section, but there's nothing wrong there. It confirms that I have an active subscription, good for another 100 and some days. I followed the 'access web console', opened my webroot page and there was nothing wrong there. What is this yellow alert for? Sell me more licenses through terror? :) Please, help! Thanks!
Question re: Webroot Complete
Webroot Security is telling me I need attention with my mobile phone & when I click on how to fix I follow the instructions the color of the notice is orange but my mobile keeps telling me there are no issues detected & that the application is configured for optimal security why does it keep giving me that same alert if my mobile keeps telling me no problems detected & how do I get rid of the alert without clicking on to remove device
One Device Shows Expired
I have a 5 device license and just noticed my laptop shows as expired online, but shows active with a current key on my laptop. My other devices all show active. How do I fix this? Hasn't had a scan since 2017. No emails or anything from webroot. My wife's phone also shows as needing attention in the console. Again no email or contact from webroot about this either. What am I paying for?
WRkrn.sys has wrong altitude?
I am working an issue with Microsoft regarding a virtualized server that was halting without any indications of why and as part of troubleshooting they ran a FLTMC and noted that WRkrn.sys is showing an altitude of 321611 and, MS being MS, they immediately blamed the issue on that wrong altitude. Naturally I argued that this was probably not the case since I could run the same command on any of the other servers without the issue as well as all the workstations also running Webroot and get the same results. Even more unsurprising they didn't care that I had a great number of servers and workstations all running the same version of the software (220.127.116.11) and none of them seem to be having this issue. According to the document from MS (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/ifs/allocated-altitudes) the driver should have an altitude of 320110. Are there any plans to have
Secure anywhere didn't start
After 'temporarily' disabling Webroot to install a printer program, the WR control center did not start. Tried to re start it from the program list, but luck. Tried to re-download but seems like that is taking a real long time Is there a relatively painless way to re activate the program?
My passwords did not move over when I signed into Lastpass, I have tried every thing. I contacted Lastpass and he told me to delete my account and reopen a new one. I did that now my support ticket I cannot access and every thing he told me is gone. Can you please help? I need to get a copy of my passwords and log on information. Thanks for any help you can give me, Trudy
Webroot's scan time is really good
Hi. I recently installed the trial version of Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete for testing purposes because I had not used Webroot before. I noticed that the deep scans take less than 4 minutes. That's incredibly fast. I'm impressed by its speed. Are you sure it scans everything? It doesn't seem to find any threats on my PC, which is suspicious.
Mobile device will not show up in account.
I have Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete. My PC is protected through the account and I had an Android mobile device protected through the account. My Android mobile device needed to be replaced, so I had to re-upload the Webroot to the new device (also Android). This was done successfully and everything was fine. Then there was an issue with the new mobile device and it needed to be reset. I reinstalled Webroot on the new device and went to finish activating it, and it told me this could not be completed because the device was already being processed. So I deleted the mobile device from my account, un/re-installed the Webroot app, and reset the password. The app is working fine on the phone now, but my account will not acknowledge the mobile device. I've restarted the phone, and re-logged in to the account multiple times to no avail.
60GB Database files? Just... no.
I started noticing my harddrive space was dropping rather rapidly once Webroot came into my life. After a quick search online I see --multiple-- topics talking about database files that are anywhere from a few gig to several tens of gigs in size. Help me understand why this is? Is this bad garbage collection? Poor programming? The other competing softwares in this domain have a footprint of FAR less than this. My own Webroot which has been installed for about 3 months managed to grow its DB files to a gargantuan 60GB. That is absurd by any metric you measure by. Go to an IT Enterprise manager and attempt to sell this product to a corporation or business where it is writing gigabytes of files onto a local PC on a daily/weekly basis. Why is this still an issue when I see threads dating back years regarding this EXACT problem. This is 100% not OK and I would have never purchased this software if I had known I would have to 'babysit' its Program Data directory.
Renewal seems a bit of a ripoff
I just got my renewal notice for my secure anywhere complete, for the price of $70. The only problem is that there are coupons available, from Webroot itself, for 29.99 for new subscriptions. WTF happened to the concept of rewarding loyalty? I went through this same nonsense from my mobile phone company. I just went through this crap from my mobile phone provider, and my reaction is the same; the competition offers pretty much the same product at a much better price. Switching is as easy as uninstalling one product and installing another, which is my plan if Webroot doesn't make a reasonable counter offer. Companies have to EARN loyalty, not demand it. As soon as I click POST, I'll be removing the auto renew option from my profile. Get with it, folks. I'm happy with your product, but not so happy that I will suffer getting ripped off to use it.
Password Manager problem
Everything on my computer is working perfectly except for the Webroot Password Manager. When I attempt to log into it from Chrome or Firefox I get an error message: "An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your internet connection" When I go to my web console and attempt to access passwords I get this error message: "This site says login failed reason=ajax error". I have Webroot complete on a laptop i7, Windows 10 pro, 16 gigs of ram and tons of free disc space. I am able to access all sites on the internet and am networked in to a desktop with no issues. The only place I am getting this ajax error is when I attempt to access the Webroot password manager. I see elsewhere on this forum that Webroot is going to issue a new Password Manager in January or February 2019. Do you think I should just wait and see what happens and if this issue gets fixed or send a support ticket? Any other ideas? Regards, Tom Mitch
