Hello, everyone. I just love Webroot SecureAnywhere but I had to uninstall it from my desktop because some cryptominers doesn't work properly, even when whitelisted. But that is not my problem. Since I uninstalled the program, my Windows lock screen never goes to a blank screen. I don't know why. I checked my energy saving configuration and everything is ok. Nothing changed. Any ideas? Thank you!
I clicked on a link on a webpage and it took me to another page, then another page came up over that and it had some red areas and a voice was saying my computer had been locked and I should not shut it down and there was some prompt box that it wanted me to input something....like a username and password. I wasn't really reading it. I just wanted out of there. So I tried to close firefox. It wouldn't close, so I used the the task manager to close it. Then I ran a virus check and nothing was found. So then I decided to restart the PC. It didn't say anything about restarting with updates, but I got a light blue screen that said 30% of updates had been completed, etc. Then when the PC restarted, it said it was completing updates. When I was back in, everything seemed fine. I ran another scan with Webroot and it didn't find anything. But then I brought up the Windows Updates panel, but it says nothing about an update being installed today. So do you think the Windows update was legitim
Hello, I am unable to find the Webroot Password Manager extension. The link provided in similiar inquiries is not working, when I click on the link I get a "[b]404.[/b] That’s an error. The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know." page error. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi , at these 3 days some users contact me for renewal. but interesting , their Antivirus no Red !!!!! and no alert for expired keys . they only view a text " subscribe expired " , up main Antivirus panel . I can not access trusted websites and can not launch a new internet window since loading and activation my new Webroot SA Internet Security Complete. For several years I have used Webroot SA Internet Security Plus without any internet access issues. This is very frustrating and I can not locate any trouble shooting tips on the Webroot site(s).
As the PW fiasco enters its umpteenth Month of non existence, has it entered the minds of the suits and skirts in the front office, just exactly how they plan on"making whole" their thousands upon thousands of paying customers who are to this day, still disgusted due to the lack of this " feature " still being touted on the Webroot website? Offering a " feature " in a paid subscription that hasn't been available for Months is pretty rude Webroot!
Hi there, When login into my webroot account I can not access my password Manager. Mobile(android) I ll get the message, please check your Internet connection. Desktop pc I ll get the message it can be loaded error message appears. I don't have webroot for a long time but a few things are not working. The back up option takes a loooooong time. Pc I can not back up files. I ve got the webroot complete version. Any ideas? Thank you!

I find that Password manager doesn't work on ANY browser! Am I wrong?? I even tried the tip that I found of rolling my firefox browser back to previous version, with no luck. (Originally I used Chrome) When will this be fixed? I cannot even access my passwords AT ALL!!! NOT HAPPY.
Hi, I'm currently using Norton and am growing to hate it, used and loved Bitdefender for years until it became buggy and started acting like malware. Have used McAfee, won't go near Kaspersky. I have used Webroot in the past and left it but don't remember why. So how is Webroot's performance hit these days ? How is the protection compared to BD and Kas which always seem to score the highest in testing ? Browser protection strong ? I have 82 days left on my Norton ten seat license but may bail before then. So is Webroot worth using these days ? Thanks for your honest opinions. :slight_smile:
I still do not have password manager for firefox. This has gone on to long. I am only sorry that I renewed for 3 years. Also when I look at my devices it says 5 desktops and 1 tablet. Only have 2 computers and 1 tablet. Tried deleting but not right. List 1 incorrect desktop. How do "we" correct all of these problems ... before the next couple of years? So disgusted with webroot.
Running macos mojave on imac. Previously had webroot running with no problems. I ran some software which apparently loaded a virus on my system, and it is a nasty one. I have tried erasing the main hard drive in recovery mode and reinstalling from a backup from before the virus, but it remains on the system. Every once in a while I am able to get webroot to run after a reboot. It comes up and says that a threat was detected. There are a number of files but it looks like it is called 'Sparkle.strings'. Then webroot crashes. It is difficult to work on the infected machine because the hard drive repeatedly fills up completely with stuff in space reserved for the system so I can't delete it. I can't uninstall webroot to reinstall because it says "You do not have permission". I opened a support ticket yesterday but have gotten no response. I called GeekSquad but they were no help.
Hi All Just sorted out my renewal for this year, and found that an auto renewal had been triggered for later renewals. I really feel that this should be an opt in option and not just have a blanket inclusion. Automatic renewal cannot take into account my paydate which in most cases is very unlikely to coincide with the date the payment is taken. This is particularly true of December renewals. I have opted out of it but I feel that being forced to opt out, when an opt in system would be simpler for the end user is not the best way to foster good consumer relations.
