How do I know (names) of the threats removed
Everytime I run "scan my computer" using the webroot secureanywhere complete I get "4" threats removed (see image). How can I find out which "threats" were removed. I have saved the scan log. Can somebody help me? Thanks!!
Having trouble re-installing Webroot after upgrade to Windows 10 (latest build). Any solution?
Windows 10 "upgrade" forced me to uninstall Webroot to complete. Now I'm having trouble reinstalling Webroot. No error msg, just 100% disk usage. I can see the process "WRSVC" but no user friendly indication. I'm assuming that a background scan is running, but after an hour I'm beginning to wonder if it will complete.
Webroot Filtering Extension (Chrome) no more Green Padlocks
Enabling Webroot Filtering Extension causes safe "green padlock" sites to report a message that states "this page includes other resources that are not secure". This image should explain everything.
So, Guys -- We're Well Into November
and Oct is but a memory in the rearview mirror and I still don't have the new web filtering extention. Just how long does it take to "roll out" something? I'm aspatient as I need to be but I though the schedule was during Oct. It's not Oct any more. :D Phil
Why doesn't the back up addon for Firefox FEBE include the Webroot Filtering Extension during backup
I use Firefox as my main browser and the FEBE as the back up addon for saving all the changes made to Firefox but unfortunately it will not save the Webroot Filtering Extensions. Does anyone know how to fix this situation? Thanks
"Windows Defender and Webroot SecureAnywhere are both turned off." NO THEY'RE NOT!
1st off, I'm not sure that I'm using SecureAnywhere *Complete*... I'm using the SecureAnywhere that's provided free to Ally bank customers and I only know that it's SecureAnywhere, that's it. (Side note: that would be an excellent piece of information to add to the GUI) Anywho, for the last few weeks Windows 10 has been popping up this message in the corner of my screen: Ummm... no it's not. At least, I know for a fact that Webroot SecureAnywhere is running... it auto-scans twice a day and I just manually scanned. So FYI Webroot, Windows 10 is dumb, good luck figuring out how to convince Windows that you actually ARE running. It would be nice to not continually be warned that you're turned off when in fact you're not. Please let me know if I can help investigate this further.
Concern regarding Webroot SecureAnywhere Keylogger protection.
I tested webroot's secureanywhere keylogger and screengrabber protection using the Anti-Keylogger Tester (ALKT v3.0) which has 7 different methods to test for capturing keystrokes, and 2 different methods for screen grabs. So far, webroot secureanywhere complete failed to protect 3 out of the 9 total methods. The failures are listed below. For the keyboard Lowlevel hook test - webroot failed to protect against keystrokes. Every single keystroke was intercepted. For the keyboard GetRawInputData test - some letters in words are being intercepted. For the screengrab screenshot 1 test (pushes a "print screen" keystroke) - a screen grab was successfully obtained. Questions: 1. Is webroot aware of these fails? 2. What are the implications of these failures in a real-world scenario? 3. Can Webroot please address this? If not addressable, why? Thanks in advance.
Move a generated password
How do I generate a password (which is done easily), but then move that generated password to a site already existing in my list of sites. I have generated a password but it does not show up in the passwords list. This tells me I am not doing something the right way. I must not be finishing the process of generating and saving that generated password. And then being able to more it as described above. Thank you for any insight. I am trying to set up my VPN for a company which I am going to be servicing. How can I set this up without uninstalling my Webroot software? I am getting a windows defender error. My defender is open and my webroot is operating properly. How can I set up the VPN without removing my webroot.
I am intermittently receiving a message from traffikkim.link
I am intermittently receiving a message from traffikkim.link/w/alerts/test2/?city=%2AUNKNOWN&ip=126.96.36.199&isp=%2AUNKNOWN&IP&Address&num=877-540-3212. It says WAIT - IMPORTANT SECURITY MESSAGE and tells me to call 877-437-1633 to contact a tech or my personal information might be compromised. The only way I can get rid of the message (it won't allow me to click out of it) is to go to End Task. Sometimes when I do that and go back into my browser (Google Chrome), it appears again. This has been happening for about a week. I don't want to call the given number because the message doesn't identify where it is coming from. I have a previous ticket in which I described the problem and they told me several steps to take, which I did, but can't seem to get rid of the problem. Please help! This is getting very annoying and I am concerned about my information.
