Why don't any of the buttons on the webroot panel work?
If I click on any of the items and then click on Learn More for example, nothing happens. If I click on Get Customer Support...nothing happens. If I click on Go to the Webcommunity...nothing happens. So how can I submit a help request, if the button doesn't work? The only button that I clicked on that works was Scan my computer.
Password Manager problem
Everything on my computer is working perfectly except for the Webroot Password Manager. When I attempt to log into it from Chrome or Firefox I get an error message: "An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your internet connection" When I go to my web console and attempt to access passwords I get this error message: "This site says login failed reason=ajax error". I have Webroot complete on a laptop i7, Windows 10 pro, 16 gigs of ram and tons of free disc space. I am able to access all sites on the internet and am networked in to a desktop with no issues. The only place I am getting this ajax error is when I attempt to access the Webroot password manager. I see elsewhere on this forum that Webroot is going to issue a new Password Manager in January or February 2019. Do you think I should just wait and see what happens and if this issue gets fixed or send a support ticket? Any other ideas? Regards, Tom Mitch

Cannot verify email address to activate my software
So I've been using Webroot SecureAnywhere for a few years now, and I'm trying to install it on a new computer. I see I need an email so I create my account and the problem is when I get the confirmation email the link just takes me to the login screen with "you are now logged off" above the bar for the email. No matter what it won't take me to any page that let's me confirm my email address.
Webroot Complete Mobile Support
I have webroot complete. I noticed when I looked at the latest Personal Secuity report they sent me that it says that it includes Mobeil security at no additional cost. So what does that mean exactly? When you add a mobile device, does that use up a seat? Or do mobile devices not count asgainst devices used? I have McAfee on my phone because Sam's Club gave me a two year subcription of the Pro version, but I sure wouldn't mind dumping it. They keep pushing out the free version to my phone. So now I have the Pro version with Ads. For the second time. And I already hated McAfee before all this.

identiy shield question
I fully understand that Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Opera are the only browsers supported by Firefox. I understand that Edge is not. However if I enter Microsoftedge.exe and Microsoftedgecp.exe into the identity shield Application protection screen in Webroot, even though it makes Edge unusable I see the little gold padlock on the Webroot icon in the task manager, as I do with Firefox, Chrome and Opera. When I put the Vivaldi.exe into the identity protection screen I do not see the little gold padlock. I was under the impression that the gold padlock showed when the executable program was entered into the Webroot identity shield application screen and that program opened. Am I wrong?
Install request from Webroot
I was watching a video on youtube and all of the sudden the video was replaced with my desktop. (I could still hear the video, but I was looking at my desktop and in the middle of the desktop was a dialogue from the operating system asking if I wanted to let Webroot make changes to this computer. I hesitated. Because that ususally doesn't happen. But it said it was Webroot and it showed the green icon. So I said OK and the dialog went away. I saw two webroot icons on the task bar and when I put my mouse over them, the one went away and the other one said it was scanning. I opened up Webroot and it was indeed scanning. And it found nothing. Afterwards I scanned again. And it said there were no threats. So I think it was legitimate. But still I can't say that I've had this happen before. I can here to check if anyone else had this happen, but didn't find any other posts.
Keycode has been activated nag screen
I purchased a new keycode for webroot from a third party and activated it. Now, both PCs I have it activated it on keep coming up with a nag box every few hours saying "Your new keycode has been activated. Additional tools and options are available to help you set up your keycode." and a "Get started" button. All that happens when I click on the button is that a web page opens to webroot's website. I've tried signing in but there is nothing specific to do once I have. The product is activated just fine, so I don't see anything else that needs to be done. I just want this nag screen to go away. Any ideas how to do it?
Webroot filtering extensions not working in Firefox lately
For the past week or so, I've notice that webroot filtering extension has not been working. Often the icon is gray and there are no checkmarks by the search returns. It is grayed out even on this page while I am typingin this topic. If I click on the icon, it says that it requires that Webroot Secure Anywhere PC be installed and running. But it is installed and running. Everything is turned on and green. I have over 700 days left on my subscription. So is this an issue with the latest version of Firefox?
Password Manager in Chrome error and can't get passwords in my account
I've used Webroot and Password Manager for years and am on Windows 10. A couple of days ago I started getting a message "an error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your internet connection". I reinstall the toolbar a few times but it won't work. I logged into my online account and can see and use all the links escept for my passwords. There was a response that said redownload Webroot, but when I click on the link it just brings up my program. What do I need to do, exactly, to get Password manager working and to show my passwords and my online account?

Auto renewal opt-out not working
Hello, I recently have had a lot of problems with auto renewal opt-out. Disabled auto-renewal for 3 of the codes we bought in August and got the cancellation confirmation mail from webroot. Now, in September, I got again the "We will auto renew your license" for the same codes. I wrote to Webroot support, giving them the codes, this morning. Nothing till now............... Usually they are faster. Hope they'll correct the problem soon.................someone has similar experiences? Best Wishes
Renewal seems a bit of a ripoff
I just got my renewal notice for my secure anywhere complete, for the price of $70. The only problem is that there are coupons available, from Webroot itself, for 29.99 for new subscriptions. WTF happened to the concept of rewarding loyalty? I went through this same nonsense from my mobile phone company. I just went through this crap from my mobile phone provider, and my reaction is the same; the competition offers pretty much the same product at a much better price. Switching is as easy as uninstalling one product and installing another, which is my plan if Webroot doesn't make a reasonable counter offer. Companies have to EARN loyalty, not demand it. As soon as I click POST, I'll be removing the auto renew option from my profile. Get with it, folks. I'm happy with your product, but not so happy that I will suffer getting ripped off to use it.
6 hours with Microsoft support to find out Webroot blocks Excel registry changes
This is probably the last place someone with this problem will look, but I've just gone through Hell trying to install Microsoft Office 2016. I turns out that even when responding Yes to allow the install to make changes to the computer, Webroot prevents any changes to Excel's registry entries and doesn't inform you that it blocked the changes needed in the install. This prevents Excel being set up as an app associated with .xls and .xlsx file extensions so, while calling Excel directly, you can open spreadsheets and save new ones, but you cannot open those files directly and have Windows 10 recogise it is associated to Excel--you get an error saying there is no default program for that type of file. Six hours of Microsoft support (no exageration) later, reinstalling Office, repairing Windows, etc., etc. we finally disabled Webroot and voila, Excel can now be assigned as the app for these file types. It would be nice if Webroot informed you when it blocks a regi
Microsoft.store wants to connect to the internet
For the last several days I've started getting a Webroot popup that says that "Microsoft.store followed by some numbers with dashes and maybe some letters" wants to connect to the internet and is not trusted. There are 5-7 of these that you have to click through...EVERY day. Is anybody else seeing this? I'm never really sure if I should allow these requests or not. I tried searching the web first to see if the file should be trusted. But nothing came up that was applicable to my search. I do know if I open the Microsoft store, that the boxes will be empty, so they requests do seem to be related to the store...which I never use I might add. I may someday...but I haven't yet. But why do I have to allow these things everyday? I'm not saying it's Webroot's fault. No doubt it's something Microsoft has done. And yes, I've clicked on Always Allow.
Hack, malware or keystroke logging
I might have been hacked. I might have malware and I might have keystroke logging. I just bought webroot Internet Security Complete. I hired Best Buy to scan and clean my other MacBook. I loaded Webroot onto another MacBook, so I could do some work. Is this a big mistake? Because the hacker might be able to see how I logged into this program? and see how it was loaded? My goal was to secure this computer and get work done, while I am waiting for my other computer.

Keeping webroot off during multiple reboots
I'm upgrading my OS and it needs to reboot a few times before it can finish the install. I need to be able to shut down the webroot software PERMANENTLY until I turn it back on. Is there a way to do this without doing a total uninstall of the webroot software? I can shut down protection but after a reboot it's back up and running. I even went to the windows startup file and unchecked it and it still came back on??? Do I have to take it out in a field and shoot it to keep it off? I read a post from 1 1/2 years ago that says to uninstall webroot. Is that still the only fix? Thanks for the help!
PC Security Commands - Lock PC
Has anyone tried using this command? I had a computer get in someone else's hands so I used the Lock PC command, thinking it would protect my information. Fortunately, I got the PC back but it was not locked. I've tried twice more since it has been back in my possession just to see if I could make it work and nothing happens.
