Copy/Paste Stops Working in some applications
Kit I have an issue with a couple of users who have Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete installed. I have been using your products for over 5 years now and recommend them to anyone and everyone, however the exclusion issue may be going to cause me a problem today! These users are using a database application and intermittently they lose the Copy/Paste functionality in this application and indeed on the whole PC, one is Windows 7 the other Windows XP. The database support department have been approached and we were advised to turn off Webroot and see what happened. Turns out that turning Webroot off alleviates the Copy/Paste functionality not working, so it looks as if Webroot is the root cause. I will say that my investigations have uncovered plenty of noise on the Internet of users with similar issues where other applications and functionality have been highlighted as possible causes ie RDPclient.exe etc. Anyway, the DB vendor has advised th
Firefox 48 password manager add-on issues
So, back when Firefox updated for Firefox 40, there was an issue with the signature for the Webroot Password Manager. It looks like something similar has happened with the update for Firefox I just applied, which brought me up to Firefox 48. Will the same patch work for 48 that worked for 40, or is Webroot coming up with a new patch?
windows 10 video issues
Microsoft Edge issue: Video links after upgrading to Windows 10 show green screen and the video is distorted on over 50% of the links that I access. Microsoft Community indicates it is an issue with Flash Player that needs to be updated. That is not the case in my circumstance as Adobe indicates I have the current version. I can access easily with Google Chrome but not Edge in Windows 10

Why doesn't WebRoot identify and quarantine WWW-searching.com?
www-searching.com hijacked my Explorer as a browser and will not even let me return to Explorer as the default browser. When I do a complete scan of my computer, it shows it to be clean. Quite frustrating when this is one of the reasons I purchased WebRoot.
Password manager: Unknown Email adress
So I have googled the error & it seems semi-common, and the root of my issue is probably the same thing as I read in another thread: Not knowing any better, I DLd the Android's free webroot software instead of the Complete version I had just bought at work and activated it. Afterwords I figured out how to activate it properly & that part is done, but if it's the same problem as what I read, I think my password manager still thinks I'm just a "Android Free" customer. The symptoms I have that were the same as the other threads I've read are; I can't get the Chrome webroot plugin to function, it just gives me the error "unknown email adress", despite being able to log in to the main console & use most of the functions w/ the same credentials. When I try to visit the password section of the main console page, it's completely blank below the tab, and trying to launch the password manager from my webroot program on the computer does the sam
Webroot Filtering Extension for Microsoft Edge
Another question coming to me it has been a productive morning thus far, I use Edge as my primary browser, when I pop to IE I see that the Webroot filtering extension is there and active, but see no such notice in Edge. Will this tech be added so that I can take advantage of it in the new microsoft browser?
60GB Database files? Just... no.
I started noticing my harddrive space was dropping rather rapidly once Webroot came into my life. After a quick search online I see --multiple-- topics talking about database files that are anywhere from a few gig to several tens of gigs in size. Help me understand why this is? Is this bad garbage collection? Poor programming? The other competing softwares in this domain have a footprint of FAR less than this. My own Webroot which has been installed for about 3 months managed to grow its DB files to a gargantuan 60GB. That is absurd by any metric you measure by. Go to an IT Enterprise manager and attempt to sell this product to a corporation or business where it is writing gigabytes of files onto a local PC on a daily/weekly basis. Why is this still an issue when I see threads dating back years regarding this EXACT problem. This is 100% not OK and I would have never purchased this software if I had known I would have to 'babysit' its Program Data directory.

Identity Shield - Secured Sessions
I have noticed that regardless on how many tabs in Opera 12.12 is opened, it shows on the main GUI (the 4th line from the top) 1 secured session is currently active and being protected by the Identity Shield. However if I open let's say 5 tabs in IE9 it says that 5 secured sessions are ..... It looks like while in IE9 all opened tabs are recorded and counted correctly by the Identity Shiled, it is not the case for Opera. I wouldn't mind for the figures stated in the said notification had I known that all opened tabs in Opera are protected by the Identity Shield. Can you please clarify? Thanks & regards, pegas
