Hello all Sorry if I'm being a bit dim but is there a simple way within backup to just choose a series of folders to be backed up, such that all files within those folders are backed up without having to set a series of filters for various file types. Let's say, for argument sake, that I have a single folder I wish to archive that contains a variety of file types. Is there a simple way of archiving just that one folder? Would it just be simpler to synchromise instead, even if that folder is not now being updated? Any advice welcome. Thanks. Chris
Hi there, I have been communicating with support concerning my problem. Someone was to have contacted me today after 1pm my time. I haven't received this call. Please help me to download and install the SecureAnywhere to my phone that is not the free one. I've purchased the complete to protect 2 Andorid smartphones as well as my PC's. I would like to see if I could re-download the software I had to see if this problem maybe corrected for my phones. If not then, I'll call Webroot myself to see if I can get this corrected. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Hi, I just bought a Secure anywhere complete keycode for 3 years and add the keycode to my account and successfully protect a pc with the new keycode, but when I put that new keycode to my mobile device there is an error saying the credentials are not associated with the new keycode. My old keycode is still active and I have the same issues when I added a mobile device to that old keycode. I would appreciate you can fix this issues, so I can add mobile devices and pcs on both keycodes in my account since both are active. There is a pc that I can't visualize in my console with the new keycode, the name is Rommel-Laptop. Also in console settings I just visualize the old keycode and not the new one, I need to manage the two keycodes since both are active and used for different purpose and persons. I would appreciate any help ASAP, Thanks in advance!
In December I purchased 50+ Seats of Webroot Complete! I was re-assured that each seat will have the 10GB backup space. For convenience- I was told that the licenses will come in 5 packs. 10 Months later the Backup & Sync continues to have problems not to mention that the 10GB promised per seat is 10GB per license. To contact tech support by phone is a 40 minute wait. My Apple devices will not authenticate. I am increasingly getting more frustrated with what looked like a promising product. I wish Webroot was as diligent about Quality of this product as it is with its STUPID level of security it imposes on the accounts. Are you kidding me?.... 4 tear security level? I’ve spent in excess of $2000 dollars and I thing that I will mount a major campaign to get my moneys back-
Hey guys, I need some help. I have been trying to fix this problem for months, off and on. This evening I tried yet again for several hours, including the time spent installing and uninstalling [i]Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete[/i], v. 18.104.22.168, on my PC, and then trying to get the [i]SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete[/i] Android App to run on my HTC Incredible. The PC software always installs and runs correctly, but the mobile app won't accept my correct info for email and password on the initial registration screen. Specifically, it responds "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." I have checked and re-entered these numerous times, always with the same error message response. I have verified that the email and password I'm using on that app registration screen will in fact successfully log me into the "my.webrootanywhere.com" website on my PC. BTW, when I'm on there, I can see several consoles — though I'm not sure what is meant by 'co

I put in Webroot Secure Anywhere on my Windows 7. Immediately upon trying to use Chrome the screen went blank and a warning "WRSA.exe was terminated becaust it was deemed harmful by Active X Virus control" came on the screen from Bit Defender. I called Webroot and even with them controling to computer there was not found a way around this. I then called Bit Defender and there response was that WRSA was a collection of items and they could not access those things. So at that point I uninstalled Webroot and low and behold my Chrome access came back. Does anyone know of a solution that a person with very limited computer knowledge could use?
I sent a question to support regarding the new amount of online backup space available (25GB) vs the size when I subscribed (10GB) and recived a reply that the online backup space has been increased from 10GB to 25GB, I still show that there is only 10GB available to me, when will the increase be applied to my account? I have some long lasting issues with WSA ... the missing padlock, problems with the Identity & Web shield and lately with the Firewall. All of these issues have been duly discussed with the support and they tend to believe they might stem from my OS and localization. I have agreed with Joe to debug my system remotely to confirm or refute the presumption once he is available. So it is not my intention now to make any hasty conclusions until the debugging. However in the light of above I have a simple question. How the OS and localization can affect WSA performance? In my case I have Vista Business SP2 with the Czech localization. I thought that all modules, services, features etc. of WSA should work on all supported OS (what Vista is) regardless on localization. I never was having issues with other applications because of my localization including security ones like Norton, ESET etc. If we would accept that localization could have influence on WSA which modules, services etc.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Complete repeatedly, changed default email address, have reset password many times, tried logging in many times, have tried wifi and 3G. Have been trying off and on for months to resolve this. Help would be appreciated! Thank you
Just activated my license and getting some problems. 1. when i try activate phone, it says the phone has no internet - yet it does, and if i put my password in wrong it says wrong password?! 2. backup doesnt work, says 10gb on PC, go online and click manage my backups and says my account isnt ready yet 3. as above but for password manager to. i got 365 more days of this! please let it be resolved.
and installing webroot on a new Samsung Galaxy Tab2. I downloaded it about 6 times but it just doesn't show up when I hit the download to install it. I can't tell what is happening. I signed on for the google play store, now when I try to open the file in my downloads it istelling it cannot open the file. I am lost.
I had an old keycode from my previous version of webroot, the one for only $40. I just upgraded to secure anywhere complete, and I can't activate on my phone or tablet because it wants to keep everything registered under old keycode. How do I deactivate the old keycode so it will stop causing me problems or make everything work under the new version I bought? I did download the right mobile app for my phone and tablet. It is working on my pc except the backup/sync won't work either. Also I do not get the search check marks in chrome, any one help me please?
[i][b]I was checking my Webroot today, as I do on occasion, and noticed a few changes. So, naturally I assumed that there has been a recent update. Unfortunately, I am experiencing something very odd. Whenever I open the porgram, it tells me that my shields are disabled. When I actually check the tab for the shields, it says that they are all active. When I click on the "enable shields", I get the captcha prompting me to enter the characters and re-enbale the shields. Some features he loved, others not so much. Mathew loves the “blindlingly fast” scan speeds, saying they’re even faster than before. He also appreciates the fact that the program doesn’t bog down his CPU and page file memory. That being said, Mathew does think that the new interface is more complicated, making it harder for the average user to find a setting. Another area of concern for him is an issue I haven’t seen before. For some reason, he can only copy and paste the keycode when installing using the ctrl C/ctrl V commands. I recently purchased Secure anywhere complete via a dvd, when I have installed it I am missing the backup, mobile and passwords is this normal???? I have tried emailing through contact you but I can't read the reply seems there is a problem when I put the password in even though I have cookies allowed Thanks Rob
first i scan local drive then it shows sudden attack game as malware and i didnt remove it because i think is false positive.then i cant open this game at all! i think webroot has blocked it! i also put this game to allow not monitor or protect.i think i want to change antivirus if cant fix this problem
I am thinking of getting another tablet and want to know where I can find a list of supported devices? It seems like I tried to download the program for a Coby I have and it seems like it was not supported? It is a real cheap one that has an early version of Android on it. I am looking at severa l others and want to be sure what I buy will work with WSA.
What is the System Events monitoring function? So far it says it has inspected over 3 BILLION system events since installation. What is that all about? Is this using any resources, what exactly is it inspecting? Is it reporting events on my system? Thanks.
