Can anyone ( calling for expert advise ;) ) explain me why i have one hour difference between the time i see in the webconsole & the local time on my pc? See screenshot below Just now i went to nose around in the web console to try and figure out an answer to another post here in the community and i decided to submit a command . When i went to check the submitted commands i noticed there's exactly one hour time difference between the time seen in the console and my local time... I'm on UTC +1 and the summer/winter time setting in Windows 10 is activated. My computer's time is the actually correct time ( not the time seen in the console ). Most likely i'm doing something stupid so don't laugh too hard pls.
I am running Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile Complete on a Samsung S6 and TAB S2 with a 4G sim. When I view the mobile security section of my console the phone number format is displayed differently for the two devices and I am wondering if anyone knows why please? I have tried editing the phone number of the TAB S2 in the console but I get an error message to enter a correct phone number. S6 +XX-XXX-XXX-XXX TAB S2 +X (XXX) XXX-XXXX
I'd like to have an option on the "PC Security" portal to list anything on the "about page" on the default page, like a spreadsheet, so that I can see the date that the "last scan" was performed, when the computer was "Last Infected", the "license duration", or the "security setting". It should be admin selectable, so that only the "about" information that you want is displayed. I currently manage 10 PCs/clients, and I have to click on each of the 10 to review information on the about page. It is a waste of time.
Webroot's Process control is still (After how many years now?) horrid with graphics handling, however high GPU use renders it completely unusable. Under normal situations, I expect that I should be able to select a running process that is being monitored and set it to allowed, especially if it's a patched game. However if the GPU is being pushed to 100%, the Process Control is incapable of displaying both more than one row every three seconds as well as more than five rows total, thus rendering it impossible to whitelist the game via that method. Further testing along this line came to several interesting results as well. Webroot catches pre-compiled cryptominers as malware, doesn't catch custom-compiled ones, but crashes all of them anyway even when they are manually whitelisted. Anyway, how can we best ensure that there is a bug recorded for high GPU use demolishing the Process Control?

This morning as I logged on I received a message from Webroot requesting I acknowledge I had read the change in user terms. I read the terms. I discovered Webroot is now requesting us to surrender our rights to use of the justice system (class actions) in order to continue to use their products. I find this offensive. Further, when I elected the 'Choose Later' option, my firewall, realtime shield, and web shields were automatically turned off by Webroot. Hmmmm...that doesn't seem like action someone who really cared about my online security would take. Does anyone else see this as a bullying tactic by another American corporation who has forgotten the old adage, 'the customer is always right'?
This evening, when attempting to view legitimate websites, I've been redirected randomly to other websites. I've noticed that I'm sent to an interstitial website, bcd.capablyoverfull.com, before it sends me to another website, including one for "viracure.com" that asks me to "Accept and Install" their anti-virus (yeah, right) software. I've also noticed pop-ups being blocked in Google Chrome for terxer.com. Has anyone seen this, and if so, how do I get rid of it? Secure Anywhere hasn't found anything on my computer. Greg
I just come out from reorganizing the backup of my main two pc's. The operation was somewhat troublesome. Backup & Sync is a nice piece of software, but it's far from perfect, I had to face various weird behaviors, but I figure out how to circumvent these. I hope that the team at WSA will improve the sw, but in the meanwhile these are my recommendations for successfully using B&S. I hope that these notes will be helpful for the development team for focusing the problems and to you for avoiding them. 1) Avoid B&S of very complex directory trees. In fact, when I attempted this I found that the copy was incomplete, only some files were copied! 2) Therefore I recommend to pack your files in archives, using some utility for producing a local backup (e.g. I used AOMEI Backupper), and then backup on the cloud the archives. This will also save you a lot of space. Saving space is fundamental, not only because it's limited, but because uploading a large amount of data i
Hi all... the Prodigal Idiot returns. It's not that I don't think about you; the world is going faster and I'm going slower. Never seems to be enough time to get everything started, let alone done. :-( Okay, so I was having issues with Safari this morning, so started my usual run-through to check my iMac. Got to Webroot and the "prep to scan" kept clocking up time. This has never happened before. So, forging ahead, I uninstalled Webroot thinking it needed a reboot. Downloaded a new program and it wouldn't accept my keycode to activate. The screen goes from green to red/orange and I was expecting sirens to go off. Started over....uninstall again, called help line. Got sent instructions for a download and install. Downloaded again, installed. Aha! Accepted the keycode that I had all along. Hit activate. Looked good....for about 2 seconds, then went red/orange and got an error screen....
I recently upgraded to a new phone (Motorola Z Play OS 7.0). First Issue is with Secure Web Browsing using Webroot Security Complete app from the playstore: While I was able to load the primary software app on my phone (Webroot Security Complete), the secure web feature is not fuctional within the app. The message on the Secure Web Browsing feature under "Security" tab "Secure Web Browsing" select/hit arrow "block known threats" indicates: "This feature is unavailable at this time. Your device is not currently compatible with Webroot Secure Browsing". Second Issue is with Secure Web Browsing-stand alone app: Proceeded to then load the stand alone Webroot Secure Web Browser app (which I shouldn't have to do if the feature in the original app was working properly). The following error is obtained when accessing the application "a secure connection could not be established to this site. would you like to proceed?" y/n option By sel

I am not sure if I have complete or just the Anti-Virus program, here is my problem. I recently had to have tech support to get my installation of WR to work because it was telling my mine was expired when it wasn't. He did a fantastic job in s few short minutes, but I did have to wait almost an hour to get someone on the phone line, I was very happy and it is now on my machine, it was a machine that I had XP but put Win 7 on. What happens is every time I start my machine I get a box that asks if I want to run what looks like the installation box, but when I click run it just starts WR and it puts an icon in the tray. If I cancel WR does not start and I have to start it. Also, if I go to Start Programs and click on the WR in the list it brings up that same box. I will attach an image of it. It is another way to start it, but on this machine it does not run normallly on startup unless I take these steps. How do I get it to run

I have gotten three alerts by Secure Anywhere that my look screen is in an unsafe state and all three times I've reset the lock. What can undo my lock screen? I did recently install an app lock but have not set it to lock my screen. Thankfully Webroot Secure Anywhere catches it, but it's troubling. Wearing my aluminum beany and waiting. Thanks.
(assuming you are still around) a while back - several months, actually - you asked me to keep you advised on the status of my Webroot and Malwarebytes installs. I am pleased to announce they are still playing very well together. I am well aware I should not run two security programs at the same time but, on my two machines, these two are working very well as a team. Phil
Hey It all depends on if you are a business or home user and if you are using the business version and the Global Site Manager, you should have access to the support ticket system directly within your console where you can submit a ticket. Below are link to get you to the Home Support options: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/support/home-contact If you are business: Endpoint & Mobile Protection support Mon - Fri 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM (MST) email@example.com Tel: (800) 870-8102 option 2 I believe is tech support. Hope this helps. Cheers John
I called my bank and they told me to contact my internet provider to have the remote access removed because this person can still access my computer whether it is on or not. My bank gave me a temporary password to reset my password after I got the remote access removed and then I would not be liable if something happened to my bank accounts. I call ATT and for only $15 a month they cover up to four computers including optimizing, removing remote access, virus check, printers, iphones, tuning up the computer and a lot more! I can call anytime. It took about one hour with ATT and they restored and fixed my registry, remove emptied files, removed one virus threat, and a lot more! I was surprised about the one virus! I now have a ATT toolbox on my destop at my disposal. The reason I say all of this is because if you are getting a lot of tickets on this then please let the people know that they need to do what I did for peace of mind. If ATT couldn't do it then I was going to have to ta
